- MikaI am glad I found this site! I received a call from "Arnold Watson". He threatened me with a lawsuit. I told him to send me over legal documents stating what he was saying in writing. He got angry and said he would fax that over. Same guy calls back 15min later with a different name, claiming I didnt just speak to him him demanding I send him information.

- John| 3 repliesThe number 646 918 5212 has just been temp. disconnected. Hopefully, things are starting to catch up with them.
- SandyThey are using a different number now 722-228-4008, they aren't done yet.
I'm so sorry everyone, my supervisor has ordered the operators here to hang up on them regardless on how much they call. don't give them the pleasure of even hearing your voice.....i know they call hundreds of times of day, and it's frustrating and it saddens me. i pulled my credit report and no current activity from them has been done. close any bank account numbers that they have. i want to scream because the FTC believes they are in a different country, and in that case there is nothing we can do. the lawyer can't help because the fools aren't given him any information....just let's hang in there. they will have to eventually give up when they aren't getting paid!!!
stick together. keep posting any new numbers that come in... - JohnThese guys called my work and left this number: 772-228-4008. It was 646-918-5212 before that one was disconnected. I called them, they had my SSN. I told them what we found out about them regarding this scam on the internet. The guy called me a "bugger" and not to call him again. Looks like they do not want us to tell them the truth.
- laurenI too am still receiving the same calls however they are coming from a 779-851-2727 and from 851-322-8600 I don't even bother to answer the phone anymore but it is crazy the amount of times these people call it just gets very frustrating

- SarahYesterday my husband received multiple calls form the 646 number asking for $640 then $5000--had his SS#, bank acct#, routing # and our address. Went through many of the same steps others did; filed a police report, FBI, FTC, congressional representative, senator, state atty general. Contacted call-centric informing them of the illegal acivity of the owner of tihs voip #. Address given to me by the scammers was for a new york public library. Contacted my atty, stated since they are out of the country most likely they can't be served, and the calls we've received don't reise to the level of cease and desist.
However, these guys may not do anything to you if you aren't duped and don't give them any money -- but don't believe for one second that they won't sell your SS#, bank acct# and routing #'s to someone that will drain your account, print checks in your name, and steal your identity.
This is not just a scam; the information they have to try to extort, and some of these threats do rise to the legal reguirements of extortion as noted in the Hobbs act -- these people have my identity.
Either a payday company sold the information to them, or it was stolen.
Either way, we will, and I damn sure will find who sold this info., sue them; find out where the information was stolen from; and I don't care what it takes.
The solution to protect yourself though time consuming and aggravating is simple, and once you've done it you can walk away, and block their number, ignore the calls, change your bank accounts, and put up fraud alerts on your SS# and your identity; however, the people behind this criminal enterprise no matter where they are, cannot be allowed to operate without impunity.
I do not accept the statement that nothing can be done if they are out of the country, and I do not accept the fate of wondering what will happen next, even after I've secured all of my information.
It's just like someone broke into my home yesterday and stole my checkbook. And I'm going to handle it the same way, and look forward to working with others to bring those responbile -- either the sellers / leakers of the informaiton, and those behind the creation and implementation of this scam to answer legally for their actions.
I'm not going to go about business as usual once this threat has passed, because it never will pass -- that information is out there now, and it will be sold, re-sold, and re-sold, until someone finally gets what they want.
They came into my house, now they have to deal with the consequences.- Caller: National Aff. Processing

- BGot this same call the man said his name was Brian Smith. Said I took out a loan with cash advance 2008 and that I didn't repay it. Said something about fraudulent internet activity. Had all my info and threatened to send his "investigators" to my home when I said I had no loan anywhere. He told me I better have a lawyer ready because I was being charged with fraud. He was very rude and had such a heavy accent that I could barely understand him. I called my bank and there was NO deposit made to my account. When I told "Brian Smith" I was going to do so he said "go ahead but you better have a lawyer ready" and that he would contact me again in three days. He also said that I needed to pay him to take care of this or it would cost me $5000 if it had to go through court. It is a total scam!!

- Caller: unknown
- MaryI also have been receiving all these same calls, home, work, family. I have had several payday loans in the past from places called UnitedCashLoans and Payday-loan-yes...but of course as with everyone else, never from something called cashco, and never an unrepaid loan as they are claiming. Has anyone ever used these particular companies? Just trying to find the commen thread...
Numerous numbers have shown up on my caller id...all have been listed on here I think...some don't even have enough numbers in them to be a phone number...and several numbers given requesting calls back to them....772-228-4008 is one, also one with 779-851-2727..... - M. CarterThey called me from 646-918-5060, using the name John Macklin and Shane Watson. Same scenario as listed above. Started by calling a relative first and threatening her.

- AggravatedI am so fed up with these people I am going to change my number tomorrow in hope that at least the calls will stop but I too am worried about them having all my information. I have gotten to the point where I donot even anwser the phone anymore for any unknown number. Because it seems to me these people call under a few different numbers. I just wanted to let the one man know that I too at one point took a payday loan from UnitedCashLoans via the internet if that helps at all. Im interested in pursuing these people as well

- roI got a call from these people to. They are rude, they hang up and get mad when you question them. I had the company that they said they were collecting for call them and now their fraud department is getting involved. I also called the attorney that is posted on some of these. He is going to call me back. I was scared at first cause I filed a chapter 13 a year ago and the place that they mentioned was in there. When I called them they stated that they closed my case a year ago. It is scary cause these people have ALL my info. Any suggestions? My email is piercer@schneider.com Thank you for listening.

- ressame calls to me from the 5060# started about 1 month ago at work and home, told them i believed it was a scam, they didn't scare me and to stop calling--they started calling me again on 4/13/09 multiple times at home and work boht messages left and hang up calls---the 5060# we traced as a land line in manhattan, ny--the called id when they call me starts iwth 05 and is only 9 digits so it must be foreign. same deal they say an internet website is hitting me with a lawsuit for internet fraud, very rude, always thick indian accent identifies himself as josh miller or frank--whenever i question them instead of cowering and getting scared they hang up on me--i got sick of the calls though and have gotten an unlisted phone# after 3 straight days of calls from them-i also put a fraud alert on all 3 credit bureaus, files complaint with the fcc,ftc and my local attorney general--i will be calling the police and the local fbi as reccommended also--i agree this is unacceptable and my employer is fully aware and will get their company attorney involved if the calls continue to come at work now that my home# is unlisted.....there has to be a way to stop them.......
