This man called said I had a virus on my computer and he wanted to walk me thru how to fix it. I got a little suspicious and  when he said his supervisor will Skype me I got real nervous. So I didn't answer he called several times and I didn't answer. Not sure what to think!

When I looked at my caller id the name was helen.oiliond and I did not answer it.  First the name was all lower case and there was a "." in the first and last name.  I would not answer it.  I called back and I got a voice message and before it was done there was a lady on the phone asking me if I could help her for Christmas.  I just hung up.

Called saying that they were Microsoft Certified Tech Support, and that my server had sent her a critical error message. Kept asking if I had sent him that message, no the computer generated error msg. and she was going to fix. Below is what she was going  to fix.

1. fix the all errors AND WARNING FROM  EVENTVWR: 50,098
2.Remove all the virus
3. Remoe all the junk files.
4. Remove all the conflicting software
5. Renew the windows  security center for the life time
6. Tune up an d optimize th pc  and internet,
7 fix the norton software
8. anti-hacking software for the  life time
9. microsoft secuurity software for the  life tim e
10. fix all the services
unlimited technical  software  related  issues

OHHHH!!!! Apparently this is a Skype extension and does not belong to ONE person, my DAUGHTER just called me from Japan on Skype and this is the number that kept showing up on my caller ID, I don't answer calls I don't know but then she emailed me and told me that was her calling.

I got a call from this number last night.  It showed up as a skype number. A man left a message on my answering machine saying "I love you"

I got the same call. He told me my name and started trying to convince me we go to school together . Deep voice. Hungup out of no where. It's really creepy

This number just called me and when I answered a man with a deep voice knew my name and tried convincing me we went to the same school. He called himself mark the senior. I don't know anyone named mark. And we're in completely different states....

It's a number Skype uses to place calls to "real" phones.  It's not ALWAYS a scammer... it could be anyone who uses Skype.  I just got a call from this number two times in a row.  The first time I ignored it because the caller ID said "Unavailable."   As I was checking here to see who it might be, it rang again, but this time the caller ID said SKYPE CALL and I figured I'd better answer since my boss uses Skype sometimes. Guess who it was. Oops.

I'm not suggesting that you automatically trust anything anyone using this number says.  I'm just saying that if someone you know uses Skype, you might want to answer and hold off on the air horn for a second until you're sure it's not them.

got a call from this number December 30th 2013. They said they were from Dish Network and were calling about our dish. I asked for them to repeat who they were and then they hung up. I'm pretty sure they were not from DISH Network.

just got a call from this number from a guy telling me i was a piece of [***] for not bailing my brother out of jail... i said, well i dont have a brother.. so uh.. he says.. how dare you!! how dare you!! i said.. yeah, uh.. so i hung up and luckily i have an iphone because i just clicked block caller and the loser bothers me no longer, yay block..  and moving on..

whos calling

Indian guy called and said he had a job offer for me.  I could hardly understand what the man was saying. I asked him who did he want to speak to -- and he was unable to answer my question who he was calling. His voice was so garbled I said goodbye and hung up. Another call came from the same number 661-748-0241 (verified my called ID) AND THE SAME INDIAN GUY now trying to sell me satellite DISHNET internet service. He forgot about the job opportunity he spoke to me about two minutes ago. I politely hung up the phone.

Indian man called my husband's cell phone and told him "I am Dr. So-and-so from So-and-so hospital and your wife gave me this number to give you your test results." My husband then asked for the name of his wife which he then got the answer "we don't have that information in our computer."
I tried the number on my cell phone and it is a Skype number.

This id the Skype number. Someone called you from.SKYPE. maybe even your friend

Received a call on my work phone from a female with an eastern Indian accent stating that she was with a risk management company called pre-charge.  She asked if she could have one of their fraud experts speak with me on our chargebacks.  I said no and hung up.

Have been getting at least two calls a day from this number, a few minutes apart, for at least a week.  They never leave a message.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.
