I received a voicemail from 661-748-0241. She said her name is Denise and she is calling from the Student Loan Department. She said my loan is in default and my wages will be garnished. She said I needed to call her immediately at 616-277-2470. She had a heavy accent and there was a lot of background noise. I did not call back. Instead, I called my student loan company using the number on my monthly bill. They said my account is current and has never been even close to default. I am also on the Do Not Call Registy.

Got a call from this number. Did not leave message.

I am fustrated and tired of getting calls from this phone number.  Can I block it.  They hang up when I answered the first couple times.  Now I don't accept call.

Received a call on my cell phone.  They left an almost completely unintelligible message.  The woman who called had a very thick accent.  I could not understand the company name.  She said I was behind on my payments and if I didn't call them there was something that would happen, but I could not understand what.  Since I am not behind on any payments to anyone, I'm sure this was a scam. I was to call 800 238 9688.  I didn't!

This is neat. I got a replacement Windows Phone (Lumia 1020 for another 1020). I factory reset my old phone, but before moving over the SIM I got a call from this number. I wasn't near the phone when they called though. How do they know...  :)

He knew my legal name. I also have an unlisted phone number and am on the do not call list. He said he was calling about a payment that I made in Feb. of last year about my computer maintenance program. He also called yesterday, but I was not home. Did not leave a message then.  Caller ID says that it was a Skype Caller. He has an Indian accent and the connection was not good, so I could barely understand him. I told him so and asked him to send me an email. He said he would. He politely hung up. I do not shop at Target, but I did charge at Kohl's.

I first got a call that said out of area with no number.  The person had an Indian accent and told me he was from global support which is outsourced from Microsoft windows and wanted me to go to my computer now so he could help me fix the security breach now.  I said what was the security breach and I could barely understand him but he needed me on my windows computer to fix it.  I refused after arguing that I didn't need to, I have security on my computer.  Finally after 7 minutes of arguing why I would not, I hung up.  Then he called right back with the SKYPE CALLER #1-6617480241.  He said I did not understand that I had a security breach on my computer he had to help me fix it and I had to go to my computer now - I asked which computer because I have more than one.  He said the one that uses the internet (LOL). He said they were (Global Support) outsourced by Microsoft because of a security breach and did I know what a security breach was.  I told him I think this is a fishing exposition and I was not going to give him any information and I hung up.

I got a call from this number 10 minutes ago. I answered and a man said, "If I find you I am going to kill you. If I find you I am going to kill you."  Yes, he said it twice. I laughed and hung up. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything to be concerned with. I post a lot of Craigslist and so my cell number is out there!!

My friend calls me from abroad on a paid Skype account, and different numbers come up every time he calls. This number came up when he called recently.  I think it's owned by Skype, and when an individual makes a call, Skype picks one of the many numbers it owns out of its hat.  So, there is no way to make any judgement about the caller if this number comes up.  (I don't know if I said that in a clear way-- sorry!)

They've called me three times already and have left 1 voicemail from an Indian woman. Not sure who it is and how they got my number.

I got a call from this number, the man that answered had a accent. he said he was from Microsoft, however I hung up. Later in the week he called again, but without the accent, I told him he had the wrong number and hung up again. I keep getting calls from this number and I decline them now.

This number just called or work landline claiming to be a UPS associate with a live animal delivery and demanding cash on delivery. The caller ID reads fart.boner when they call. They are using some type of 3rd party calling system through a static I.p. address since the phone number is not a listed number.

Numerous calls with this number displayed in caller ID.  Wants to "park my car in your garage", "put my hot dog in your taco", etc.  SKYPE is giving these perverts the ability to harass and scam people with impunity.  SKYPE is also making money for CenuryLink now that I am paying for "services" to try and prevent these types of calls.  

Research from municipal police dept. indicates that the number is the default number for SKYPE users who do not set up an account with personal information.  Good job, SKYPE!

Got a call 2-7-14 at 5:41 p.m.  When I answered there was no one there.

Got a call from this number, called 2 times. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up, and eventually googled it to find it was apparently from Ca. Not knowing anyone from Ca, I continued ignoring it.  After that, he called and left a voicemail. He claimed I owe people some money (Never said how much, even) and that he knew where I lived and would break my legs. Had an Australian accent.
Going to report to the police, probably.

This call was on Norton web site and said that he can fix the Computer on Line from his location. From India is this Scam

Foreign national telling me he works for Microsoft and needs to discuss a virus and would walk thru the removal process.  I hung up on him and he called back twice.  EXTREME CAUTION!

Super annoying.   I thought being on the no call list meant do not call me!! Grrr
