I am having the same problem. I was willing to  pay 25 a month but they said 50 a month until i get my taxes and have to use the money to pay it in full. They won't work with you at all. They just want to rob people instead of working with them.

Emily from Brent Stamps office is harassing my family and they won't give me any information about their company, (address, web site, etc.). They say they are representing an attorney's office. During their many phone calls, they either hang up on us, they threaten to sue us, and they say they are going to post the information to the credit bureaus about us.

This firm calls my house, even threatened to come out to serve me papers. I have told them they are calling the wrong number. Idiots cannot serve papers to someone that does not owe them. They have bought up debts from other companies. They try to intimidate in order to collect any funds possible. I told them they were making terroristic threats and I would call the police, Attorney General etc. In fact, I don't owe anyone a debt. You never know who had a phone number prior to you, or a same name. They do searches and try to threaten with fear tactics, but it is pretty hard to do when you know you are in the right. Most people have caller ID. If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. Once they have called for awhile, and you decide to answer, get a boat horn, or whistle and sound off loudly. It can be productive. This is a practice of debt collection should be against the law.

They keep calling me and very rude from the beginning ..

This firm engages in using harassing telephone robo calls. For the last three years they have called me using various tel. Numbers stating they are collecting a debt. The debt they call about is in regards to a medicare co pay. I had. a MRI and was charged a 85 dollar co pay which I paid after they called Humana to find out what co pay to charge me. A couple months later I started receiving a bill for a further co pay which they stated that was due. I told them I paid the copayment and was not paying another copayment especially after they had contacted the Insurance co. later they turned the bill over to Brent Stamps who sent me a letter demanding the payment. I answered his demand by explaining this was a second copayment and I was not paying the bill. Hence for 3 years I get calls daily form them asking for payment.  You would think after my letter and 3 yrs of calling they would get the message.

I have received a letter from this shyster's office regarding a debt for a serious and emergency series of  medical procedures that was performed at a large "Northside" of Atlanta hospital. My medical emergency and subsequent treatment  happened in 2012, and I thought that I had worked a plan out with the large "Northside" of  Atlanta hospital that would allow me to pay this bill over time, $25.00 a month. As it turned out the large "Northside" of Atlanta hospital lied and sent my account to this collection agency in June 2013. (Patient Accounts Bureau) Isn't that such a compassionate thing to do, make a deal and then renege on the deal?

Anyway, I received my "Emma" call, got her to agree to my original plan (that was still all of the money that was available) and quickly sent the $25.00 payment along with a letter thanking them for the arrangement. I have been doing the monthly payment, accompanied by a letter since then. Of course they always take the money, because they have to. They continue to threaten me by phone.
Fast forward to today, I receive a "Brent D Stamps" letter that states an amount owed that differs by $100.00 from what I actually owe.

I am thinking that I will just ignore this letter and continue to pay the "Emma" agreed plan, and keep all records of these transaction in case they do sue me. I will happily go to court against this charlatan and let them explain just why they are doing this.

Please have them to stop calling me.  Call me several times a week. At first it came up as Hollis Cobb now it is HC.

Receive numerous calls from 678-250-7180 saying Brent Stamps attorney. I have no money to give them because if i did wouldn't i have paid whatever bill they are calling about ???? very unprofessional as they call from 8:30 in the morning until 8:30 at night. I have a cell but don't know how to block them

Does the money go to the debtor that they claim they're collecting for?I've been sending these guys money for a couple if years now on a legitimate hospital bill assuming it was getting back I them.
