Global Crossing Local Services, Inc., this is the number that I got on the reverse look up for 845-512-1599, from New York...it is the same company.  What the company does is validate certificates for security purposes on the internet, as well as provide internet services...and it seems that this is a SCAM since they are calling from so many different locations as well as different numbers...probably phishing or other type of scam. I didn't "answer" the calls.  I picked up and hung up...and that is that. I don't answer calls that are blocked, unknown, or from someone I don't know.

This number keeps calling me a couple times a day on my cell. When I answer they hang up, if I don't answer they do not leave a message. My cell "is" on the DNC list. The number they are calling me on is my work number that I do phone support on. It is really annoying to keep answering the phone to be hung up on. I am physically working and providing phone support at the same time. The number is different than the other peoples, but a reverse look-up shows the same company in CA.

they are using another phone number now...7189899350 which is out of new york city..reverse phone look up provided this name, Global Crossing  Local Services, Inc.  I called back from my home number and they answered saying, "hi, are you returning my missed phone call....i hung up without talking.  not sure what this is about, not sure how they got my cell phone number, wasting my time and my minutes.

This number came up on my caller id as 630-756-1841. When I did the reverse lookup it came up to Global Crossing as you guys. I haven't spoken to anyone, but they call from different numbers to get you.

I get these calls about 3 or 4 times a day.  I was out of town for two days and when i arrived back at home around 3pm within minutes i got the 6782536211 call.  The odd thing is that while I was gone not a single unknown call came through.  I get many different numbers.  I think it is someone that knows me and is messing with me like spoof phone.  Has anyone else thought this?

I've started getting calls from these people....on my cell phone.  The call I'm receiving is from 443-390-1400 and 443-390-1500, Global Crossing Local Servcies, Inc, Location: Churchville, MD.  My cell is on the DNC list.  I also subscribe to a local newspaper.  Not sure what the connection is unless business is so bad in the print media that they have resorted to selling their subscriber lists.

I receive calls from 443-390-1400 and 443-390-1500 almost on a daily basis, several times a day. They claim that I have requested information on how to start a home based business, although I have not and I tell them this every time they call.  Additionally, I tell them I am on the DNC list and to remove my number; at which point they hang up on me and then proceed to call back later.  I have attempted to call both numbers back, but when I am connected I am then immediately disconnected before the phone even rings.  I have filed a complaint with the DNC registry, as well as the FCC, yet they continue and I'm at my breaking point with them calling my cell phone multiple times a day.  Although I have caller id the only thing that shows in the name portion is "Maryland."

I am recieving a call from 5616231403 in Palm Beavh, Fl. They called about 10 times in one day. I ignored the calls and contacted my server and they blocked the number through a nuesonce block.

I have received a call twice in the last two days from 617-245-9601... I didn't answer the call, cuz I was not familiar with the number.  Well, I just looked it up on 411.com and gee guess what comes back..... Global Crossing Local Servcies, Inc  but in Cambridge, MA !  After I saw all of you messages, I attempted a call and the line goes dead....

I can't get any work done because they keep calling..global crossing local services inc. in Churchville Maryland. #443-390-1500. They are calling my business land line, so I am also trying a block. Very rude people.

Today Feb 24, I got 6 phone calls from these people?  Any one know what they want - the little I saw was that they sell phone services. the phone number I got the call on is443-390-1500/1400.

This number 443-390-1400 is calling me daily.  I have caller ID it reads withheld. Thru reverse look up I have found Global Crossing Local services Inc. I live on the west coast and the calls start early in the morning.  I have signed up with DNC registry, how do these calls get thru? I am at my wits end!  How do I stop thiese calls?

I answered an ad for a home health care job and started getting calls from this number. Just like others posted here, I call and get an answering service and they keep leaving me messages, on my prime time/not free minutes! Not happy about this!

Someone keeps calling us from 347-340-0340. I used to work for a communications service. I looked up Global online and found a CLEC agreement between Global and BellSouth. I called ATT and got no answers. We found a number online for Global at this website: http://www.globalcrossing.com/company/company_contact_us.aspx
If you scroll all the way to the bottom it's under "SLAMMING". Well they gave me a number to call for "Call Catcher" which is the CLEC under them. Their phone number is 1-800-447-1477. What they told me was I was not the only person that called about it and they had no idea who it was but the number was not registered to them. They told me the only thing I can do is call my phone company, so I called my phone company AT&T...they said that the only thing that I can do is to put call blocking on my phone line which is an extra $5.50/month for this one number. That's not really fair that we will have to pay to block the number when we don't know who it is or how they got our number.

Global Crossing Local Servcies, Inc  use do not call registry at gov site to block these calls and then report them if they keep calling back.
I also have a dog whistle by the phone, in case I need to whistle for the dog while on the phone with a telemarketer.

Repeated calls, some with odd menu, calling several times a day. I am on government don not call registry,
also have dog whistle by phone in case I have to whistle for my dog to come in while on the phone with unwanted marketing person.

Global Crossing Local Service, Inc is now calling me from 650-215-0840.  Craig even knew my name and my brothers name.  Very disconcerting!  This call originated from their offices in Mountain View, CA.
