they called my iphone, I missed it and I tried calling back but it said "This number has been permanently barred" so I sure hope they won't call back. but I'm sure it's an illegal number.

i get calls from 685-5 twice a day at the exact same time: 11:58 they both come in at the same time, and ive never answered. anyone else have this happen?

In my case it was a Skype call

Had this number call today (Sunday) very strange came up with an unknown CID. But managed to return call to find the number being 6855. I can't understand that no one sea to know anything about this number it's been going on now for years. Not one little piece of information about this number. Does anyone care TPS/WCM?

just got another missed call from that number i also got an iphone but its weird that only people with iphones are getting it...

I just got a call from the number 685-5 about ten minutes ago, im gonna wait and see if they call back again.  From what I have read from the previous comments though, it sounds like some sort of virus that gets your phone number through the Internet and calls it at random intervals with no return number, then connects you with a random out of date number.  So in essence, its spam.

I've been having two calls a day for the last 4-5 days.  I did answer the first one and it was an automated message about pensions.  I haven't answered since then but happened to hit return by mistake and saw the number - can't believe the number of people having the problem which seems to have been going on for a number of years.

This number has rung me on numerous occasions, usually many times a day, don't know who it is

Hi, I just got a very early phone call from 6855. I live in the US, my carrier is Verizon, and I have a Motorolla Droid phone. I think it is a number people use to harass others (not just an iphone thing as I have read on other post and not just a U.S. thing). Everyone's experience has been different, but they almost all sound harassed. I did not answer my phone, but I can tell you that someone has been harassing me, periodically, for months in different ways with a definite pattern. This phone call fits in with this pattern.

Just found it on my phone at 19:29. Dont know who it is, I got all excited at first thinking it was the Gadget show as it resembled their number. Dont have any credit to call them back.

Returned call but not available, waiting for next call and will answer to try to find out what or who it's from and give them a nice F*** off and stop calling

same here...twice a day and return call attempt will not go through

got two to three times call from "unknown" number, WTF! Always annoy!!! Plz suck my ball instead of call me all the time!
