Just rec'd a call from unknown....685-5.

Also got a missed call from 6855. Didn't call back to them. I don't trust it

This number seems to call me when my phone is locked. As soon as I unlock my phone screen it automatically dials the number and I have to cut it off quickly. I don't know how they are doing it. I've googled and nothing. Frustrating!!!!

I had this number call me tonight and when I answered they hung up !

I don't know, this person called me and I'm concerned.

As a person without caller ID I get this every time someone calls me and I miss their call. It's the default number for calls without caller ID or any number associated to them.
I've had debt collectors,spammers, family, friends and the like all have this number.
Nothing to worry about, just don't call it back because the number isn't associated with anyone in any country/province/state/county.

I keep getting calls from 685-5 but it shows up as I know and when I call back I says that the number can not be dialed, whenever I answer It just beeps 3 times and hangs up

Just had a missed call from 6855. Thankfully it's easy to block the caller on my phone

I just had a missed call showing as 68 55. Unable to call it back, no idea what it's about & don't intend answering any in the future.  Will ask my telephone company of the number can be blocked from calling me.

I get this 685-5 call just about daily and have received it for over a year on my I phone 4S I just ignore it and keep dumping it.

Just had a call from afore mentioned number. Tried to phone it back but it doesn't receive calls. Does anybody know who this w****r is?

Seems to be a phone system fowl up. *with Android phone & Virgin Mobile Carrier: Menu >Manage Apps>All. Scroll down to Launcher. Uninstall. Turn off phone. Take battery out for 15 seconds. Put battery back in & restart phone. Go back to Menu>Manage Apps>All. Scroll all the way down to the end of the list, which is where Disabled Apps are located. Select Launcher. Select Enable. Return to your home screen.Turn off phone. Take out battery for 15 seconds. Turn phone back on. The End. This will help correct many Apps, and your phone should operate more smoothly.    8 }

I just recieved a call from them and they wanted money so i shouted dad and they hung up!

first let me start buy explaining 6855 is not the number calling you it is merely an auto -reference code for withheld or unknown numbers ie(private )for example debt collectors hospital appointment reminders telemarketing ect,this is why calls are reported as different companies by different people but all have 6855 left on there phone,this also explains why the calls are of different times to different people , i have had this number left on my phone for over a year clocking up 11 different callers from debt collectors to hospital appointments broadband sellers telemarketing and others , so please don't associate the number 6855 with the person calling you has it is just and internal code for missed or private numbers .
