Pressed 1 to speak to an operator.  I asked them to send a copy of their do not call policy within 2 weeks.  The person said nothing and hung up.  I'm filing a case with Small Claims Court against this company.  Info on how to do this can be found at http://www.killthecalls.com/suing-telemarketers.php

Call was from "Credit Service". Recorded message made it sound like they were calling due to prior established relationship between us and  a credit card company. We do not use credit cards. They offered to "lower your rate" and suggested we hurry to speak with them as time is running out on the offer. We immediately reported to the Do Not Call Registry.

repeated phone calls, no message

called two minutes ago. I answered, but they immediately hung up. no message, no live person.

reading the other messages above, I see that I have had previous similar experiences; urgent message, hold on to talk to an associate about lower credit card rates. same calls, but from different phone numbers.

I just got a letter from Sutter Medical Center saying my contact info was among the 4.2 million customer records stolen from Sacramento October 15-16, 2011. So maybe robocalls go out to phone numbers, then are resold when the numbers are verified as being current?

I don't know. I've been in the DoNotCall registry forever and it is not working for me this year.

Just received a call from  701-661-1003 and did what I do to any number I do not recognize, I ignored it.  If they leave a msg and I don't recognize who is calling I delete the msg.  Everyone I know understamds this is what I do so if they change their number they have to e-mail me at the correct e-mail address. It is a bit of a pain but no stress, just don't answer, delete missed call msg and delete the voice mails.  Nothing says you have to answer them.  If you pick up a call from a number you don't recognize, you will usually know it is a robo call by the hesitation after you say hello, hang up immediately.

This was a recorded message from “Account Services” that begins with “this is an urgent message about your credit card”, followed by a sales pitch about “lowering your interest rate”.

Disconnected when answering machine picked up. Caller ID showed as out of area.

The only reason that these people stay in business and keep harassing the populace is because enough people get sucked in to make it profitable.  Sometimes I think it would be far easier to eliminate stupid people than it would be to eliminate the hucksters who prey upon them... IMHO

when i picked up i listened to a pre-recording from a women named heather not even a real person.  whom told me about a credit card opportunity.  never said once what card company etc nor did someone pick-up to talk to me when i pressed 1 for service and i was going to say stop calling the line just hung-up.  what a scam!

Same thing, this one claiming I applied for a mortgage.  When I denied it repeatedly, the reformed Hindu [***] asked "Do you drink, sir?"  I s*** you not.  I responded with a "gutteral" two-word phrase and put the number on call block with my old, trusty AD100 caller ID Box manufactured by Bel-Tronics Limited (very old - keep an eye out on ebay or Google it.

They called this afternoon. I said hello but no one answered,so I hung up. I reported them to the do not call registry.

No message left, unknown number from ND

no message, just showed up on my caller id.  I have a call blocker app so I will add this number to 30 others just like it.

recorded message concerning an account that we do not have with an unknown name is overdue...we are on the do not call list but continue to receive calls using up our cell phone minutes.

Finally got fed up with these calls and bought an air horn.  That seems to get the point across more than anything else I've tried!
