Received 3 calls in a row on 12/18/07.  Didn't answer because I didn't recognize it and I checked the number and came up with this site.  They didn't leave a message.  I'm guessing telemarketing.

ok this is the deal. 6 months ago, my kid said he was going upstate, so i get a call from him, and i hit the roof, the phone was from las vegas NV !!!!!

i wasupset but when he called back from the home/friends house, he was upsate and not in vagas :)  its sad that i have seen missing kids and persons family trying to trace this number, but the deal is, its a main switch number used by a pay phone co in lasvagas,and every phone they have from cal to ny are all the same. for you people who need more info, i was told by police if you report a missing person case, they can contact the payphone co and give the police the real number. hope this has been some use.

I got a call from this number 1 702-444-4939 at 5:04 pm, can't answer in time. Whent I call back 1 702-444-4939 no body answer, keep calling and busie s tone came.

I received a phone call from my boyfriend claiming he was in Eureka, CA but the number came up #702-444-4939. What am I supposed to believe?

I got a call from this number and it was a friend in texas calling me in Illinois.  She bought a calling card and called from a telephone booth because her home phone is disconnected.  That's all ot it folks.

ANY CALL WITH A "702" AREA CODE IS COMING OUT OF LAS VEGAS.  I LIVE IN NYE COUNTY ADJACENT TO CLARK COUNTY WHERE VEGAS IS LOCATED.  MANY OF MY FRIENDS HAVE CELL PHONE NUMBERS WITH THE AREA CODE "702" BECAUSE THEY WORK IN VEGAS, COMMUTING FROM WHERE I LIVE, AND THEY PURCHASE THEIR CELL PHONES AND SERVICE WHILE WORKING IN VEGAS.  THE "702" AREA CODE COVERS A HUGE AREA, BUT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRACK WHERE THE CALLS ARE ORIGINATING FROM.

got a call from this number claiming to be in on Artesia Blvd. in Torrance, CA

I too received phone calls from this number in relation to a CL ad I never posted. He said he was in Orange County California...This is twice this year this number has called me about a CL add.

Gota call around 3:15pm as of 1/15/2008. How do people get my number?!!!!

This is a pay phone outside of Smart & Final in the Anaheim Plaza on Euclid in Anaheim, California. My sister just called me from there so I know for sure that this is accurate information.

my brother just called me at 3:45pm from this number he is in Chula Vista CA. So am in vegas and thought he was being sneeky and trying to surprise me but i found out he is at home in cali.

got several calls starting at 12:36 am from 702-444-4939 on my cell but did not answer because the # was unfamiliar. searched out the # online and saw that it was a nevada area code. turned out it was my ex husband who lives in va. he was calling me from a pay phone. apparently, the company that owns these pay phones are based out of nevada and so uses that areacode as a method to show ownership of these phones, however the phones are located in just about every state.

Hey folks, you can relax. That # comes up if you are calling from a pay phone or using a calling card in just about every state. It is nothing serious....9 out of 10 times, it was probably some one that you really knew trying to reach you, on the legit.

This is a number used by Worldwide Telecommunications.  They have pay phones all over the U.S. They are based out of Nevada but it doesn't mean the calls came out of Nevada. My son called us from Portland, OR and this number came up.  He was using a phone card

This same number called me twice from Las Vegas Neveda, I want to who who it is.

I got a call today at 2:42 PM from this number.. It happened to be my ex boyfriend who I havent talked to in a week. Does any one REALLY know if this is just a pay phone or what? 702 area code is in Vegas but I dont think he is there or in Mexico...
