The company is based out of Nevada.  This does not mean that the caller is located in Nevada.  As with other phone cards and such, the call is routed through a central location - this one being in Nevada.  If the calls are threatening or harassing in nature, contact the authorities or the company (Worldwide Communications was it?)  Otherwise, dont worry yourselves over it.

This is a number from a payphone.  There is a convenience store down the road and I know someone who calls me from it...it's definately not in NV!  Just a payphone.

I got a call from that number from Las Vegas, Nevada. I heard a man ask is this (my phone number)? And I said yes, then he hung up and I can't call him back.

Got 2 calls this morning from 702-444-4939.  Neither time did they leave a message, called before 7:00 MST.

I hope the caller gets anally raped in prison.

I received several calls from this number, no messages left.  I called back and got a busy signal, once it rang for 3 minutes before I hung up.
I looked it up and found several threads like this one, it must be a payphone company that uses the number as a way to track who the pay phones belong to even though placed around the country.

Umm i got the same call today and it was my bf callin from a pay phone in puerto rico...idk but they must of changed the numbers

i got a call from 7024444939 i wasnt home tho and it showed up on my id as world telecom. it must just be a calling card company and im pretty sure ive seen their calling cards at stores before.

I just received a call at 2:30 am from 7024444939 no message, just tried calling it back and it's busy

got call from this # while eating dinner ... ignored it ... they called again a few moments later ... i ignored it again

Tes I thought it was strange because called my home phone then a few minutes later called my cell phone. I am in wa. state #1-702-444-4939 2-20-08

I got a call from this number today.and it hung up on me I tried to call it back and I got a buisy signal.

I got a call from one of my friends with this number as a call back and she was in Washington at a pay phone.

I got a call from my husband in Datil NM, he said he was using a pay phone at the local store
- his cell phone doesn't work out there and he wanted to let me know he arrived safely.
I was wondering why it showed up as a 702 number and about to get angry that he called from NV and not NM but then read these reports and believe him now, even though it should show up as a 505 number.

I keep getting a call from this number and is my ex- begging for money- claims he is camping in alabama and is stranded and need money wired.

Caller called both my cell phone - around 10:55 at night  it was bzy when I called back.

Got a call from this # 702-444-4939 at 3a.m. - don't know anyone with that area code but they did make 3 failed attempts to login to my voicemail.  Crazy.
