I just got a call from this number; it was my son, from pay pone in WA. Says he is not in NV. It may be a routing process that routs calls through a central switching location regardless of the dialing location. The carrier for this pay phone service may be a NV location. Seems logical...

I get calls from this # every so often from someone I know who lives in SB county..would make sense that it's a pay phone that's redirected...he uses it because I block his #

My boyfriend called me from a pay phone in San Jose California. Than he called me about 10 min later from his parents house 408 area code.

got 2 calls from my fiancee from this number, and i know where he was calling from and it was NOT nevada.  hmmmmm strange

Received a call, answered, caller paused for a minute and hung up the phone.

I think its a router number for pay phones to mask the real persons Caller ID and location. So I will email cheryllundy and see what she says.

What I'm thinking is that its a payphone number landline that is used to route certain payphones that the telephone company owns. Still researching...

tonight at 9 at night it rang 2x when i answered it was from a pay phone which i just bought then my sons cell rang with the same number i was unablel,to leave a message or find who or where this coming from i live in los angles calif.is this scam or virous whats up/??????????/a,

my husband just called from this number it was a cell phone in sugar notch pennsylvania. I hope this helps the woman looking for their kids. this call also came up nevada call.

I have a restraining order against my ex-boyfriend for beating me, and he used a local Lake City pay phone, to break this restraining order, calling once on Saturday night 01/09/10 around 10:43 pm. I didn't hear my phone ring, so of course I didn't see it until I went to bed. I didn't try to call the number back, as it was unfamiliar. I figured that it was a wrong number. On my way to church on Sunday morning,01/10/10, the phone rang and seeing the same number, I answered it curious to know who it was, and it was my ex. Asking if I missed him, and why we had to be apart. I called the number back, and it said it was a US payphone, and that it couldn't be traced. That if it was law enforcement, needing more information, that they should e-mail cheryllundy@sbc.com. I have sent her a personal e-mail, and she has not responded. I did report his call to Columbia County Sheriff's Department on Monday morning, and then I went to
the Lake City Police Department. I have also contacted my local news channel to see if somehow I might be able to force ATT/SBC (the same company) to get rid of these so called Ghost Phones, as anyone stalking, harassing or even abductors could use these phones, and never be traced. It is scary and sickening that ATT would allow this kind of thing to go on.  What about terrorists in our country? Is this a secretive way for them to communicate without getting caught??

Everyone who has complained so far are from the U.S. but I live in Ontario Canada and received three calls today from the same number.  I can't imagine anyone calling me from a U.S payphone especially when everyone has land and cell phone lines. Is there any way a person can call from a payphone and connect to your number once you answer to steal long distance?

Received the call and it said that the call came from a pay phone in LV.  I think I received this call from a vacation that I am planning in March to go there.  I think they gave out my number or someone is trying to make me talk to them and that is how you can do it.

this number has been calling my husband cell phone and mine since the beginning of jan 2010. no one ever says anything and they finally either hang up or the phone goes dead.  This week I started getting this phone number calling my work number.  In the past when we would call the number back we got the Cheryl lundy message.  Today I received the call on my work number and when I called it back it tells you to leave a message for mailbox 7025609176, then it says it's full and the call hangs up.  When my husband and I were receiving these calls on our cell phones we were receiving the calls within 1 minute of each other.
this is really sick and annoying.....why can't police look into this with so many complaints and force AT & T to do away with this "ghost number"........

I recieved three calls from this number today with one message left. Funny thing was, they asked for me using the name of my farm on a game I play on facebook called FarmTown????? I called back and got the same response as everyone else. Voice mail box full???? Does anyone know what is going on yet?? This has been going on a long time!

This call comes from a payphone in Colorado Springs, Co. Possibly Denver, Co. but most likely Colorado Springs.

this number has called me constantly for weeks. Had the police track it and found out that it is a MAGIC JACK!. You see this advertised on tv daily for $19.95 a year. It cant be traced because its plugged into a computer and the call is generated over the internet. But MAGIC JACK  company is located in Nevada.
