I am in NC and in fact have a loved one in jail but this isn't them calling me. Does anyone know if this is a number truly out of Nevada?

The company is inmatesales ...someone in jail is trying to call you. It's not a scam. Answer the call. I bet if you were incarcerated and we're trying to reach someone on "the outside" you'd like for them to answer. Also, sometimes inmates don't have money on their account so they "borrow" a call. If it's prepaid what's the harm in answering? It may be your son, daughter, sibling, spouse.
