These "people" just up and started calling me out of the blue a few months ago. I ignore numbers I don't know, and they never left a message. They started calling about once a week. Then it became daily. I accidentally answered one day and was surprised to receive rude treatment from a woman demanding that I pay a medical bill from almost THREE YEARS AGO. I informed her that the bill had already been paid about a month after the medical procedure because I am military and Tricare pays my medical expenses. I even have PROOF of the payment with statements showing that Tricare paid and that I have a zero balance. She got nasty with me and tried to get me to pay again, saying Tricare would reimburse me. She asked me what method of payment I would be using. LMAO! Yeah, right! She threatened to ruin my credit and take me into collections. I called Tricare to double check. They were like, "The bill was paid YEARS ago. They should not be contacting you." The Tricare representative said she would send a letter to these collectors telling them to stop harrassing me. I blocked the 7074542010 number, and guess what? They started calling me from 866-729-2722, their other number. Ugh! They leave messages saying to press 9 to reach someone about an important matter. Not to mention that I work nights and sleep during the day, and that is when they call! I am going to take this up with JAG here on base. They should NOT be contacting me for money that was already paid to the clinic. I am going to have to check my credit report now to see if they are indeed ruining it. I had a score in the mid-700's! Now it is 650 according to a recent credit card I opened! I don't know how people saying this company is GOOD received up votes and the ones who tell the truth about them get down votes!

I HAVE no bill to pay. It was paid for March 2010. The procedure they are asking me fore money for was February 2010. I have a zero balance, with the paperwork to prove it. PLUS, I called Tricare and they can see it in their system! So, gtfoh. You must work for those losers. Take resposibility deez.

Call the fcc. They also run the do not call list.

I have been called daily for the past couple weeks by two different numbers related to this company. They won't leave a message (I don't answer numbers I do not recognize), so I googled the phone numbers, and voila, here we are. I checked my credit report through multiple services available through the government's Annual Credit Report service, and no where on this report is this company listed as a current debt collector.

Either they are attempting to collect funds from me illegally, or they have mixed up their records.

What's very frightening is their power over their web reputation. On multiple websites, including the BBB, it's glaringly clear that reviews or posts have been written by the company or those representing it - likely in hopes of reducing a negative image.

If I am continued to be harassed, I will be taking action.

So I didn't pick up this call, left a message, tho the message was actually a recording telling me how important my call was and to stay on the line for the next agent. The recording went on till it said your time is valuable no agents are available and please call us. HA! what fools! Why bother dialing a person if you're not going to have 'agents' available to take the dang stupid call! Idiots.

Most likely it's a zombie debt anyway. I wouldn't pay them.

They keep calling my hubby's cell. Wont leave a message and wont answer when I call them back. Sounds like a collector trick to me but we are not behind on anything so I dont know  just wish they would go away. Once before stupid  collectors had my husbands social security and our phone and address stuck to a guy with  same first and last name but different middle name and different town. They bugged us for a yr. Sending threatening letters and phone calls.  I finally had to threaten them with a lawsuit for harassment.

They lied to me and talked down to me as if they were more moral than I am.  When it was over I paid them over 500 even tho I wasn't sure I owed them.  Later I found out it was a mistake .  It was like pulling hens teeth to get about 100 back.  They kept the rest.  They were  like bloodsuckers when they Thot I owed them. They took my money and only gave twenty percent back!

Please everyone- File complaints against Rash Curtis in as many places as possible - BBB, Attorney General, FTC, and an attorney. They are bottom feeding people who are unprofessional and harass consumers, and as a group we can stop them.

Also - if they call your employer - tell your employer and everyone else that someone is harassing you, and FILE a complaint. It WILL stop.

Be sure to tell the collector nuts that your employer does not allow these kinds of calls -in writing. Then file as many complaints as possible against Rash & Curtis. It WILL help.

Either of these idiots might call you related to collections. File complaints against both. They are both partnering to stick it to consumers.

Well that's a bunch of bs.  I answered one of your calls, and was yelled at, threatened, sworn at ("why don't you pay your f-in bills!!").  Would not tell me who I owed, only that "you know damn good an well who it is".  Would not tell me the amount of the original bill.  I said that "you cannot be legit" and hung up.  15 minutes later the guy called back with a deal - I pay $6,000 now using credit card(s), over the phone, and the police, who are just down the streed and getting ready to do a "sweep" and arrest you, will be called off".  If I don't pay in 15 minutes, I will go to jail until the judge hears the case, which could be up to 6 months from now.  Would only tell me that it was "Rash and Associates", and not give his name or number.  Kept saying that "only minutes left until you are arrested, they are almost at your door, call your friends and family and get credit card numbers NOW".  I told him that only a scam artist would attempt to extort money without any legal reference or backing, only to get a stream of profanity.  Two days later they called my daughter on her cell phone with the same story/threat (she is only 14 years old).  She gave me the phone, and they asked me to consider if I want my daughter to be sexually assaulted while in jail, but I can keep her out if I provide $6000 on credit cards before the police arrive.  One week later they called my wife with the same story.  I told them that this was the third call to extort money, and we were prepared this time and recorded the call.  They hung up, never heard back from them in the last 3 years.  In each call the caller id showed a number that was reported to be used by Rash Curtis and Associates.

File a complaint against Rash Curtis with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Attorney General and the BBB. Do it today!

Ha - this company as of today has been put out of BUSINESS due to illegal business practices.

Read the article, and be sure to file COMPLAINTS against any collector who contacts you. Do not speak with ANY of them on the phone or give any information. They are all worthless and consumers WILL triumph over their tactless business practices.
