called I answered and said hello three times when a woman finally said hello back and then the phone was dead

I have received a phone call from them and they do not identify what company they are with and the message was very unclear.

Received call from the same guy on Sat and today.  Asking for Veronica.  When I advised no "Veronica" lives at this address or phone number, he asked if this was not the Brown residence.  I said that it was a "Brown" residence, but no Veronica lives here and I do not know Veronica.  When he called back today and asked for Veronica again - i told him that he had called on Sat and my answer was the same today as it was then.  He asked if I had a phone number for Veronica.  If he calls again and asked the same, I'm going to say "555-1212".

A guy calls and tells me to hang up if it is not me.  Well can't hang up if the answering machine gets it while I'm at work.  So he goes on to say he is collecting for a federal agency and because of hard times in the economy that his client is willing to settle for less.  Less for what?  He did not leave his name, nor whom the debt was with, or any pertinent information.  He left an 866 number to call him back.  I will not be returning the call.  It was the first occurrence.  If it is ongoing I will report it.  When I did a reverse number lookup on anywho.com I got the following information:

Got a call from "Mrs. Thompson" asking for my daughter that lives in a different town saying they were Redline Recovery Services and had a debt to collect.  The caller ID was the 713 number but I was given 866-388-1224 to call back on.  When I did, Mrs. Thompson would not discuss the issue with me because I wasn't my daughter nor would she say how she got my business number.  I got one of these calls about six months ago.  My daughter called and they said she owed on a car lease.  She has no car lease although they had accurate info on her car make and model.  She is going to followup with her car loan people to see what she can find out.  Pretty scarry stuff.  I will be filing a complaint with the FCC.

I am glad to have an answering machine and caller ID.  I will NEVER answer an unknown number, nor return a call to someone claiming to be a debt collector.
The call did not leave a persons name or company from where they worked.
Total fraud.  I hope there is a large fine issued to this number. FCC needs to step up.

I had a call this afternoon asking for a Leanne Virgil.  I said there is nobody here by that name and they asked if this is Lopez Daycare.

Today is 2/2/09 I have received 10 phone calls today from this number 713-423-1020. I never answer it. They get my machine and leave no message. I do not have an over due bill.
someone please get them to stop. My elderly mother will be hear to live with me, I cant have this kind of phone calls all day this will scare her . please get this to stop. thanks

Caller ID Redline Recovery rcv ANOTHER call at 8:17 AM this morning.  They keep asking for people that I have never heard of or know.  I have told them several times to take me off their list and I am on the Do Not Call List.....

I've had this company call me dozens of times. Almost every time I answer, no one responds on the other end. Now, they have called my sister, and told her I need to contact them. They gave her a different number than one on the caller ID. I called and got a recording.

Over the last few months I've received numerous calls from this number (Redline Reovery) asking for someone named "Debra".  My name is not Debra, Nor do I know anyone by that name.  The people I've talked to have been consistently rude and obnoxious.  They've promised several times that my phone number would be removed from the account.  On a couple of occasions when I've protested that my home number is still being called, they had the nerve to demand my cell number!  This morning, I received yet another call from them and the rude woman yelled at me when I protested that I did not know "Debra" and I wanted my phone number removed from their list.  So, I called my local District Attorney's office and they advised me to file complaints with the Attorney General's office in my state, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), my State Consumer Affair's office and the Better Business Bureau.  I spent this morning making calls and filling out complaint forms online.  I would advise everyone to do the same.  File complaints against this company.  I realize they are trying to collect debts, but from what the fellow at the Attorney General's office told me, they are doing it illegally.

Caller is calling my cell phone, this is costing me minutes.  They call my cell phone, then they call my home phone, using allied, then they call my home phone with another number.  Not gonna answer just because they are harassing me.

I receive calls from this phone # at least 4 times a day. They leave a message to call a 1-866# but never say my name. I don't call back because they never mention my name.

Call came in identifying himself as "Paul" looking for someone who does not live at my sumber.  When I argued about it, he asked me how long I have had this number, and even gave me the address of the person whom he was looking for, which is not even on this side of my state - I suggested he remove my number, and if he did not believe me, he could google my phone number to see the address to which it belongs.  I told him I was tired of getting calls from this stupid number, at least 4 or 5 a day, and he said it was no more stupid than living in Georgia.  I called back, asked for a supervisor, spoke with Wanda, who was very pleasant, and said she would get to the bottom of the matter.  Really, I just want them to stop calling and harrassing me about someone else.

I got a call from 713-423-1020 @ 8:oo CST, didn't know the # so I didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message so I looked up on reverse phone # search. It says ULQ out of Houston, TX it's s subsidiary of Redline Recovery Services, a collection agency. I don't owe any $ to anyone, I wish they would stop calling!

713-423-1020...and 832-209-4600...both are annoying calls all the time until 9 pm. get a life and stop calling me...bye...

I have said this before... there is no real way to stop these people... the only thing we can do is try a little pay back... I have a loud horn that I keep beside my phone and I've called these people back and hit "0."  When I get a live person, I tell them, 'It's pay back time," and blow the hell out of the horn until they hang up.  At least there is some satisfaction in this.

713-423-1059 is the Redline Recovery no. that tried to call me.  No message or identifying information was left.

Just got a call from Redline Recovery and googled their name and saw all this out here. I am not behind on anything.   I didn't answer their call and they left no message.   716-250-4800 is the number that came up on my phone along with their company name.

I also get many calls from this number 713-423-1020  - no messages.  I will only respond to proper message with name of person calling,company name and the dept that the call is about.
