Got phone calls as unknown caller then doc the # 7135741101 4 times today quit calling have no money!!

Its no scam. Chill out. It's a prepay company for collect phone calls. Chances are, if someone's calling you from this number; someone you know is in prison, or they are just dialing the wrong number.
"Call the FBI"? FOR REAL, GET A LIFE. Or some medication. Chill out!

This call is a collect call from a prisoner in a correctional facility. It is generated by Global Tel-Link and is the only way that someone in prison can call out. So if you have a loved one in prison stay on the line and press 3 to talk to them. If you don't know anyone in prison, it is most likely a miss dialed call.

I have used Global Tel Link in the past for phone calls with a relative in a county jail. The county jail which is in CA has a contract with Global Tel Link so instead of collect calls, the calls have to be prepaid. I have used the website and the call center which I believe is in Ga and set up an account, and to put additional money on the account. Each phone call is charged a connection fee and then a set per minute rate (it varies depending on the distance of the calls). I have never gotten a bill in the mail from them. I have always prepaid a set amount either $25 or $50 and then used the minutes to talk with my relative. They calls are very expensive so the prepaid money does not last long. ***** Judging by all of the comments I do believe that a few of the people may have had loved ones in jail and not been aware of it. (There is no free call, if it is a legitimate call from them your loved one will say their name in the call obviously you should recognize the voice to confirm.

If you keep getting calls from Global Tel Link and the name is for someone that you know (loved one, friend, etc) there is a free way to confirm if they are truely incarcerated in the jail that GTL claims the call is coming from. VINE Link is free it stands for  (Victim Information and Notification Everyday). This is to find out the status of incarcerated people so that victims of crimes will have a heads up if the person is being released from custody or transfered to another facility. Their website is www.vinelink.com (AGAIN THIS IS FREE NATIONWIDE) there is a map and you select the state and then the county that you want to search and you just enter the first and last name and it will confirm if they are incarcerated or not. Called me twice but i didn't answer. I know some one in prison, butthe area code was wrong so thats why i didn't answer i guess. If you get calls from that number just don't answer.

This is from NYS Department of Corrections.  It is a collect call through Global Tel Link that you have to accept the charges for.  The recording specifically states the name of the inmate calling and the correctional facility they are calling from, no way can that information be excluded - listen carefully next time you get a call.  If the call is on a machine you may not get all the information, most of it gets cut off.

I am getting calls from this number quite a but my number does not except collect calls and when I call back it says that the number is disconnected. It is driving me crazy. I want to know what or who it is but I cant get the block off. The only person I know that lives in texas is my nephew who is in the army and is Iraq. I wish I could find out if this is a scam or if one of my friends or family members actually are in texas and possibly in jail. My family is way too big to just call all of them to make sure nobody is missing. Any info on this number please?????

How does the person get your number in the first place? i just got 3 phone calls and it is pissing me off. Whoever the spammer is needs to be found.

This caller called my number 3 times in a row. Nobody answered. I have to get a new number. These crack heads get these prepaid so nobody can trace there phone.
