Received a call and someone asked how I was and how was everything at my address.  They gave the correct address and used my husband's name.  I see by the posts that it is a gmail number, but why are peopl;e calling otheres, that they don't know?

Foreign guy called completely butchering asking for a Mrs. "L". He absolutely couldn't pronounce my clients name and wouldn't tell me why he was calling. Determined he was looking for a girl and my client is a man who's definitely never been and never will be married I told him there was no one here by that name. He said okay and hung up. Sounded like a telemarketer from the middle east to me.

Wow! The call I received this Sunday morning  was before breakfast & coffee and this Indian trying to speak English tried to get me to connect and join a session at Teamviewer.com to fix the problem in my computer that was causing their server to malfunction.  He claimed to be a technical maintenance agent for ITC - Internet Traffic Controller of Canada.  I wasn't awake yet and tried to understand more but when I realized he wanted me to download this free trial program allowing them remote access to my computer, I refused and said that I would check with my internet provider and computer tech guy before doing this.  He warned me that there was NO time for this and that the problem need to be solved immediately or else...Continuing to refuse to "co-operate", he bellowed I had given him no other choice than to call my internet provider immediately and to cancel my internet connection - FOREVER - LIFETIME REMOVAL!!!  Trust me, it's very difficult to watch my language describing this violation.  Be very careful...I was lucky to have worked with remote computer tech analysts for my internet before and knew the implications of doing this, but the poor Canadian soul that is unaware of this, is opening his computer's information regarding banking, passwords and other personal information to some Indian crook from California.  I just hope this guy gets to meet his 75 virgins...the sooner, the better!

I wish to report receiving a call from this number and believe it to be a scam, is there anything I need to be concerned about regarding theft of personal information through hacking.

I received three phone calls from this number today. They sounded foregin, perhaps from India or somewhere else near that region. They said they got my phone number off of facebook. I don't know how to get them to stop...

Someone calls me over 100x per day from this number, I called my cell phone carrier and had the number blocked.

hello, that number is from Google mail. probably one of your friends that has a google mail account.  anyone can call your number from their google mail account. I call my own phone when I cant find it and thats the number that comes up.

Called me at 12:39am.  I realize now that this is a Google Chat number but it had to of been prank or scam because I don't know anyone who would be rude enough to disturb me at that hour.  I'm telling everyone I know to please use a real phone to call me.

got a call from 760-705-8888 keeps ringing, never left a message. I am ignoring and not answering but it is very annoying.

This number called me twice on my cellphone. Then he called my landline number. I did not answer all three calls. What is happening? How come he knows both my cellphone and landline numbers?

If you get a call from this number call Google's offices and complain.
Keep them on the line as long as you can use your Gmail account if you can.
Be as offensive as you like. The only way to stop this is to cost them money.
Keep their phones tied up. I plan to call at least 5 times tomorrow until I get an answer. Who called me?
