I had that happen to me today.  Some called me from this number and said "Hi" Grandma.  I told them they had the wrong number.  He said no this is your grandson.  I said no one at this number is a grandparent you have the wrong number.  They then asked for Grandpa and I told them there is no one here who is a grandparent.  You have the wrong number.  I then asked what number they called and they gave my number.  I told them your have the wrong number.  Do not call me again and hung up.

Just received a call supposedly from my nephew that he was arrested in Cancun and needed $1000 so he could get a hearing for drug possession today otherwise he would have to wait 6 weeks.

I got a call from this number. But I do not know who is calling me???

People are having too much fun with the Gmail voice service.  Both my company's cell phone and office phone received a call from the number and the person was extremely vulgar on the phone.

Called me at work saying they were California highway patrol very weird

called me wanting to meet for an item. He probably wanted to rape or abduct me. If he calls again I'm filing a police report.

I received  a call fRom this number as well but what I thought was Strange is that this person  knew my name I didn't hear anyone say they called them by there name
They left a message in my voicemail it sounds like there loading a clip in to a gun.

This caller ID was in the phone that my mother was called on.   Scammer was telling my mother that she was my daughter, in Mexico, and being held by authorities because somebody in her group had pot in their luggage.   She did not want to tell me and her mother and was only being given one call.   My mother said it sounded like my daughters voice but can't verify that because she is 80 years old and it was early in the morning before she was awake.  A man came on and said that she would be released for $1500.   How can Google/gmail regulate this type of use?

The number is originated from a VoIP provider talkatone. Anyone can download the app then make calls through the internet. I use it because I work offshore

Maura Collins is the caller ID for Google Gtalk-- a service that comes with gmail that allows people to call and talk with other people. Just do some research. Before, it said Escondido, California, the center of all things Google. It's not possible to call the caller back, as the same number is being used for every Gtalk user in existence.

I got a threatening phone call from 7607058888 at 2:33 am November 16th 2013 stateing they are going to kill me I have contacted the Ky State Police over this message that was left on the answering machine I would like the name an number of this cell phone. Thank you again Gracie Harmon  

I get a call from this number.  The person addresses me as grandpa and says she is "your oldest granddaughter" and asks that I keep what she's going to tell me "between us."  Being the accommodating old fart that I am and not wanting my granddaughter to be in trouble, I conveniently call her by name.  She says that she has a friend named Jessica (?) whose father gets free tickets to Cancun each year and asked my "oldest granddaughter is she wanted to go.  Apparently a sob story proceeds and my "oldest granddaughter is stuck in Cancun and needs money.  My wife took the phone, said firmly that she wasn't going to keep it between us and asked the caller her middle name.  The caller immediately terminated the call.  These criminals need to be caught and prosecuted!

Did the police respond?  Did you find out anything?  Apparently many scammers or crank callers can use this service to harass others.  It's not just one or two people.  The call you got is quite different from the "eldest granddaughter" scam call I got.

Just received a call from this number and said his name was Terrance Hyacinth from Canada. This is a Cal. area code. And comes up Maura Collins. Wanted more pictures and details on my house that I am selling. Caution

Prank calling me
