Same scam yesterday saying my grandson was in trouble in Mexico City. Needed to send money. Sounded just like my grandson. Devious scam - scared all of us until we got a hold of our grandson. Alerted local police, FBI and FTC with all the numbers I was given. Someone needs to stop these people before someone gets hurt.

This number keeps calling saying it's junior and nobody named junior lives atthe number. They are calling an elderly number and getting her upset. Please stop this individual . Number is 760-705-8888 and comes up Maura Collins ! It's scamming you

I just got a call from this #.  I asked the guy 2-3 times what his name was, and he kept saying don't you recognize my voice? (I did not recognize his voice, and that is why I kept asking while answering his general questions.)  I kept in the back of my mind that this was not a legitimate call and was sure not to give any personal information to him.  I asked his name 1 more time, and he said "Michael".  I said I do not have a grandson named Michael, and he hung up.

Scam to send money for a grand child in trouble in a foreign country.  Even had two people to talk to you.
One posing as your grandchild and one being a Marine officer at American Embassy helping get grandchild
out of trouble.  Asking you to send money.  Caller ID showed California 760-705-8888

I have read all the posts on and about the number 760-705-8888. I got a call at 1:55am it went to vm nobody said any thing for 3 min dont really feel that i need to deal with this kind bs.  Google really needs and should change their settings! I have never used this feature nor do I plan to use it . So in turn if I don't use it then I should not have to deal with the calls at all. Google fix u r settings.

I am getting calls from 760-705-8888 stating that we are calling from technical support and since we are getting the error messages from your network hence please allow me to take the remote session of your computer which I refused and these calls are really make me annoyed and I am not able to trust any technical support due to these reasons

Dead silence. Then I hung up.

It's a prank call that's why you couldn't hear them. nobody else could.

This number called and did not speak anything, as I research on google and found out this is nuisance caller. I would rather like these calls be stopped ASAP.
