760-705-8888

I got a call at 11:30pm on a Sunday night from a man asking for my husband by name.  When I told him it was late and I did not appreciate a call that late he said when he called someone he expected to get them on the phone.  What bothers me is that he sounded very threatening and said he was a friend of my husbands.  People should not be able to use google to do this to anyone....

YOU PEOPLE CAN'T EVEN READ!!!   Probably you don't even spell good.  The first poster and others since August 25th have been trying to tell you that an internet service provider like Google Mail is offering free long distance calling via home computer, instead of the more traditional use of phone and long distances fees.  So when callers using this feature call (say) me or even someone as dumb as you. then the phone number used by Google Mail will come up on Caller ID, NOT the phone number of your friend... if dumb people like you even have a friend.  Sooooooooooooooooooo... that Google Mail phone is (guess what!) 760 705 8888.  Where you been?  Mars?

Stop calling here

who called me?

Hopefully Google will wise up and prevent gvoice callers from calling the numbers on "DO NOT CALL" list, otherwise, I'd suspect that one of these days, either FCC or some hot shot lawyer is going to go after Google for this voilation of "Do Not Call".  The penalty is hefty!

Caller called me grandpa and if I recognized his voice. i guesed Andy and he Said he had a cold and had been arrested by the police in Canada and needed 2000 for bail he was good at fishing for information but his phone id traced to California not Canada. I told him he would have to call back later.

Thank goodness for this service. We wil not answer any calls from this number.

If you guys have a problem with google talk, then either: a.) put this number in your phonebook with a silent ring tone (if you don't have that as an option, record silence on your phone and assign it as the voice memo as the ringtone) OR b.) have your phone company block it.

It's easier to block 1,000 random people with one number than to have to block 1,000 different sources. Chill out, there are a few different services that this situation could apply to, Google is just faster at catching on.

Don't know who's number it is they call and don't answer when I pick up. Calls everyday at one until two or three nonstop

They called in, didn't leave a message. but the word "Escondido" popped up on the caller ID

3 consecutive messages left on my phone - one right after the other.  Several people speaking foreign language (non-English) in the background.  Have no idea who or where they are calling from.  Also got 2 other calls right after that from 927-466-812 and 092-746-6812.  I took both those...the first also had foreign voices in the background, but not response when I answered.  Same with the second, but when I answered, a person spoke back in another language, and then hung up when I asked who it was.  Very rude, and somewhat suspicious.

call came & the guy hi grangpa all the love crap wants you to guess who so he can get a name & yes he needs money to get out of jail on bail ( ha ) his call came from Escondido Ca.

This is google free phone service from computer to home or land lines.

Please don't call my phone.

I agree that it's google voice, but if this was one of my friends calling they would obviously say something. It's my opinion that once you use google voice to call out to someone, google will then store that number and test it out themselves to see if it's a valid number.

Again, just my theory. But that way google may be slowly but surely putting together their own phone directory for who knows what (future evil) purpose.

Me and my friend are on the computer and then this number calls. I hang up then they call back and they knew my friends name, he started to freak out and i started laughing. Who is This?????? I prank people sometimes but their my friends not strangers ...

Call came at 7:06 pm Oct 6. Do not recognize number or area code so I did not answer phone. They never left a message. I am on the Do Not Call list in Canada and it doesn't always work so I guess calls from the US are inevitable. Anyway, I am fed up with all the calls I get, and, half of the people don't speak English!!!!!

Someone just called my wife's threatening phone message, and we want to figure out who.  Please help.

Disturbing me

i have been recieving frequent calls from an unknown person
