I sent about 10 emails in a row to the contact email addresses for NSPIRE and Hope House requesting my number to be removed from their SPAM list.  Hope this does the trick.

Ghnspire and hope house are the same fraudulent company.those who donate only know what they are being told..their donations are actually sold and the only one benefiting is Gregg kennard. The employees are worked like slaves for little to no pay...the people they claim to help do benefit to an extent.. They provide them with housing and a job and although paid..they are paying to stay in what they call the hope houses..at the end of the program they are able to collect money they have earned and saved while there only if they are not violated at the last minute..employees picking up donations ate often told to dump them if the items are too large or their isn't room on their truck..the employees get paid to pick up clothing only because that is where the money is made..most misc. Items get thrown in the trash..all these stems ate then sent to stlnta and sold..if they even make it to Atlanta because the drivers take what they want off of the trucks first and management allows this because they are highly underpaid..not only is Gregg kannard stealing from the public but the employees steal from him because they feel like that is the only way to make ends meet..in do many ways this company is crooked.I've seen honest men go in thinking they were working toward a good cause end up just as crooked as the company..my goal is to bring this company down and free the public of their lies and corrupt ways. If they are a non profit organization then why are they profiting millions each year?

I'm so glad I found this forum.  The organization (Hope House) was calling my home about 8 times a week and when I answered, they just hung up!  I'm on a do not call list. I just confirmed my subscription on the do not call list is active.

So, I found out how to block the Hope House number....if your using comcast...dial *60 and follow the prompts.  It's been two weeks since I blocked the number.  Problem solved!

The people WON'T stop calling, I finally had to block their numbers... they have 3 that I have detected so far.

I have done some research of this company "Hope House". While they *seem* legit -- in the end they are not.

They work in conjunction with another donation program called "Nspire" Actually they are the same company. They do have a store front in Lawrenceville GA. again its just a store front. Nspire is said to help the homeless and hope house is said to help battered woman.

While they do "help" its not the type of help you think. There have been many many reports of these "organizations" stealing money from the people they help. They put about 10 homeless people in a 2 bedroom apartment and after these homeless find jobs, Nspire and hope house takes all but 50 dollars of their paychecks. 50 dollars is what these people have to live on for weeks. In a 2 bedroom apartment with 9 other strangers. Just for the kicker they also have to pay out of that 50 dollars a portion of rent that Nspire and Hope house set them up in....

Please think before you donate and be my guest to do a litttle research on your own to find all this out for yourself.

This is a company called Hope House (formerly NSPIRE) which is kind of like Goodwill.  They call you asking for donations of clothing, shoes, toys, etc.  You bag'em up and put them on your front porch and they come pick them up.  We used to donate to them, until they became EXTREMELY unreliable.  Often our front porch would be clogged up for DAYS ON END with bags of our donations.  In fact, a couple years ago, we got tired of the stuff sitting out there, and since they'd just opened up a Goodwill store about a mile from our home, we took the bags to them instead.  Ever since then we've taken all our donations to Goodwill, and I've told the Hope House people over the telephone that we no longer wish to donate to them and that we give to Goodwill now...but they insist on calling all the time.  I often pick the phone up, and just hang it right back up...hoping they'd get the hint and take our number off the calling list...but apparently not.  Tonight at 9:00pm, they called, and I decided to answer it on the 2nd ring just so I could tell them once again to stop calling, but when I answered, there was no one on the other end.  I tried calling the same number (770 807 3915) back, and it rang for a few times and went to a message about the voicemail being full.  I tried pressing ZERO and it said it would transfer me to someone else, then I get after several "clicks", I get complete silence.  I called back repeatedly thinking maybe sooner or later someone would answer...but no such luck.

Could these people be creditors fronting as a non-profit organization????

yes, they are not very responsible. they hounded me to make sure that it was ready, had it covered because it was raining and they did not show up. I have been calling the number over and over and now just goes to a voice mail that is full and can not take messages. it is not right that these are sold to a thrift store. Only way to really help and take care of people in need is to take it to downtown cities which there are plenty of homeless people. set it there and they will take it. Or give it to the churches that are truly giving back to the community. it is very sad that these people are not doing the right thing. I have personally gone to homeless people laying on the curb and given them clothes bags of clothes and driving off feeling better that i know it truely went to someone that needed it.  they really need to be reported for scamming like this

They called my house either do not say who they are are ask for some unknown person.  On the day they promise to pick up is the same day that my married daughter disappear for several hours  how are they using their phone privileges.

I don't get it; you're supposed to place your items in a plastic bag so how could the rain ruin them?  Did you not follow instructions?  I can understand being pissed if they say several times they're going to pick up and then don't, but I would have given them 3 strikes and they're out; that's it!  I have had two donations for them and each time they have picked up as scheduled but perhaps they have more reliable drivers in Duluth GA, don't know!

Bull. They do not stop  calling. For years. . . I've asked them to stop calling my number. For years they call five times per day and leave no message and hang up most of the time. This is a load of crap. . . and I am about to get legal involved. I've gotten phone records showing their calls for years...repeatedly..on the same day. That is harassment in anyone's book. I'm going after the turds.

I have a home office phone as well as a home phone.
Between the two of them, probably 10 calls over 2 days.
After 9:00pm, before 8:30 am... it doesn't stop.

Most of the time no one is on the line. One time I got someone and told them to stop calling and they mumbled something and hung up.

Harassment is Harassment... they are hiding behind the 'charity' clause, but I can tell you they are the last charity I would give money to at this point. This behavior should not be rewarded.

What can we do about the constant phone calls and hanging up? I am also on the Do Not Call List, but I did see that charities are exempt. I have asked repeatedly to be removed when someone actually spoke to me. Now, they just call my number almost daily and hang up. It is beyond annoying.

The above link it a BBB report on Hope House/Nspire.  It is not perfect; they are lacking in 3 non-profit criterion.  But they are meeting or exceeding standards in 5 other categories.  I have a scheduled pick up next week (my first time) and I'll let you know if they show up.

I used to work for a call center. Hope house is legit and they're on an automatic dialer. If they hang up its not the person doing it,it's because the dialer suspected a no answer and hung up.

Continue calling all the time and my phone is on the no caller list!!!!

I've asked this number several times not to call me anymore. They never leave a message and when I tell them not to call me anymore they just hang up on me. If they are legitimate they wouldn't get anything from me anyway. They are VERY unprofessional!!
