They call several times a day, at least three times a week.

Called and did not leave a message.  They have called on several occasions and never leave a message.   I am not interested in SCAMMING.    ID showed HOPE HOUSE.

My phone Co.  will not do anything either.   My number has been used for spoofing and they still won't do anything.  I have seriously thought about disconnecting my landline.

Hope House calls here every day.   SICK OF THEM.   NO MESSAGE LEFT.   They have been told not to call here.  NOTHING FOR THE SCAMMERS.

They call over and over every day

this is a "charity" pushed by a lady who lost her children to heroin overdose...she is pushing this in the north Atlanta area, the northern triangle of heroin use in the upscale suburbs of Atlanta....hence the 770 area code = they want money for residential 'recovery' programs...a way to dry out heroin addicts...problem is, you cannot...by the time you turn to heroin (morphine derivative) you are pretty much hosed...brain and health issues you cannot correct and total loss of social consciousness = meaning they will do anything for their next hit...and because this destroys the brains receptors each high must consume even more drugs leading to only on outcome = death...this group actually believes that they can save a good portion of people...they cannot...but if they spend a billion to save one they are ecstatic...they are supposed to stop calling if you ask them to stop, but they will not...they are NOT bound by the DNC list...and do not pay any attention to any other rules...they are addicted to "saving" "children"...but these are adult children who should have been taught better...guess not.. if you find a legal way to stop them please post it...but I'm guessing you cannot....best thing to do is to buy a call blocker...mine will block over 1500 numbers...which will cover all the number they can generate...they don't answer right away as this is a robo call center...

For you people who think being on the 'no call list' should prevent these types of calls, it does NOT apply to charities.  The Do Not Call registry is to keep SALES people from calling, unless it is someone you have previously done business with and you have freely given them your phone number.  I bought a call blocker and for numbers I don't recognize I just block them,...and they are truly blocked from ever getting thru to me again.  I LOVE it !

They do and are legit. I've donated twice. They even come if you call them for a pick up. Helps get rid of unwanted junk to those who can use it.

I'm not sure why they hung up on you multiple times, but I will say that Hope is legit. I've donated clothing and food to them. They've come to my home twice last year. I got a call today with no answer and hang up 😕...

That is sad and helpful information. Thank you for sharing. I donated twice last year. I didn't do  much research. I assume they were nice.

I have also gotten together items (clothes & household) for this organization.  They scheduled pick up & called the night before to verify but never showed up even after three scheduled pick ups.  I had to throw the stuff away since it finally got wet
under my carport.  I'll call the Kidney Foundation next time as I have actually seen their truck in the neighborhood.  I now ignore these calls.

For anyone checking this number, it's a charity organization (that is legitimate).  They have trucks in different neighborhoods & ask for clothing & basic home items for women & children who have fled domestic abuse situations.

Since it's a charity, the No Call Registry doesn't apply.  I have dealt with them for years. Basically anything that's still usable/wearable that you may take to goodwill, they'll pick up from your home for free. From my experiences, it just needs to be small/light enough for one person to pick up.  Hope the info helps!

That's strange... I've never had them not show. I know that if everything isn't labeled for hope house, they won't touch it. Not sure if that could apply for your experience.

The closest thing I've had to negative is when I had several bags of clothes & several boxes of kitchen stuff I left out, marked. I then left to run errands, as I got home, the truck pulled up but the stuff was already gone. I spoke to the driver he said he would have been the only person to pick it up for Hope House. I thought someone has to be really messed up to take stuff meant for charity!

Hope House calling each and every day.   THEY ARE SCAMMERS.   I say this because they have been told not to call that we have nothing for them and not to call here anymore.  They DO NOT listen.  They continue to call regardless of the time of day or night.   You WILL NEVER get anything doing business or scamming this way.
