Verizon is making big money off spam and this feature is nearly impossible to disable, even on the master account. The customer service has only occasionally reversed these charges. Somebody needs to step in (perhaps the FCC) and force Verizon to make disabling this feature far easier—-like offering an uncomplicated, free option to opt out.

Long story short, Verizon should not be allowed to make money off spam.

got a call from a different numbers 17739225401 sunrocket did have no idea what they do but they call all day,,, 20 times a day

Sunrocket DID just called and the first thing they asked me to hold for rep.  I hung up!  I'm currently job searching, so I answered, but immediately regretted it.

I had the same thing happen with Sunrock DID.  I do not have a relationship with HSBC and dont have any creditors that would be calling me.  The number was 773 922 5436.  I am also on the do not call registry.

I'm  getting phone calls form 646 862 3144 and 646 862 3143 saying I'm being arrested and coming out to me house and F*** me up and saying they are going to get me fired from my jop and they won't tell me why hell the can't even speak english good I have filled a police report it only a matter of time tell the [***] are in jail

This is a scam, they are Portfolio Recovery Associates, they try to steal money from charged off credit card accounts.  They are not Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Associates.  This raj person who posted the message about them not being a scam probably works for them and is trying to trick people into paying off something that is dead and burried

I AM  ON THE NOT CALL  REGISTRY

I recieve call from this number several times a day to be exact 4 or 5 times even late at night. They never leave a message but on the caller I D shows SUNROCKET DID  786 - 522- 0577 or just in coming call

This number calkled me today and I do niot have athe slightest clue who thety are...443) 313-1382

My SUNROCKET DID call was Portfolio Recovery Associates spoofing the number. They are degenerate junk debt collectors...For like the 50th time i told em to go [***] themselves and to sue me.

I get these calls all the time for someone who doesn't even live at my address.  I always give them a phone number in Alaska and tell them the person moved there.

I received several calls from this number on 20 July 2011.  When I finally got to talk to a person (several times there were hangups when I answered) they said they were some diabetic supply company and wanted to send me a new test meter.

It's Portfolio recovery as usual.  Just add them to the list of blocked numbers.

When the caller ID shows it's them, just answer the phone with a company name, such as "Thank you for calling XYZ, Inc."  They hang up, because they can't call a business!

I received a call from this Sunrocket company as well! But the number they called me from was a number with an area code beginning with 443.

Sunrocket DID just called me from 443-313-1381.  First time ...hope it's the last.  I didn't answer.
