The internet search I did for the name Sunrocket Did says it is actually a phone company/ service of some sort.  That might explain why so many different companies are showing up as using this Caller ID.

The call I had was from an Employee Benefits Company using their phone service to try and sell my Business a new benefits package.  The phone number itself was a local one to my area.

A little advice to you all. Change your land line numbers & cell numbers. Or get a pre paid phone and they'll never be able to find you. Before, i just cut the ringer off. Then change my number and then just reused old cell phone numbers to throw them off my back. It's a recession and they better go to the gubment for sum money...

Friday Caller ID said Sunrocket DID.  Several calls with these numbers 443-313-1382 and 443-550-7961.  Said her name was Jesica.  I told her I did not know her, I would not give out information over the phone and to stop calling.  The following is the rash of calls we received;

It all started with PORTFOLIOR on August 26, 2011.  You can see the diferent tactics they use.

I got a recorded message saying 'you are calling portfolio recovery associates.  This is a company that is trying to collect an old AT&T phone bill that belonged to my ex wife after we split up 15 years ago.  They will not give up...but I am not paying my ex'es old bills.

When I called this number back I got Portfolio Recovery Service.

Both SunRocket Did and Portfolio Recovery play unfair...you can't get rid of them and you can't get them in trouble. Right now, they are in control and it F...... sucks and so do they!!!!! Good Luck!

Now that is the truth my friend I like that. You know I have learned these people or nowhere near me to get to them. People you have the power in your hand if you do answer there the phone when they start just hang up why get stressed out over something that over the hell with them they are bottom feeders.

I just got a call from Sunrocket DID, she said she was from Portfolio recovery, a bill collector.
I told her to send me a bill, she said they wouldn't be sending me one. I guess they just expect you to take their word for it that you owe someone money. lmao
I told her that she was required by law, (in Texas) to send a bill within 30 days of first contact, she told me that wasn't true, well, I told her to check with her atty and I hung up.

sure you can get them in trouble, every state has consumer protection laws, google it for your state, learn your rights.
I did it with NCO, they harrassed me by calling me every hour on the hour, I recorded everything and got an atty who works on contingency on cases like this, and we sued, they had to pay $30,000.00! Loved it!

Sunrocket DID is really Portfolio Recovery Associates. It's a collection agency that specializes in "zombie" debts. They buy up thousands of old debts for pennies on the dollar from the original companies that held them. The debts are either past the statute of limitations or written off/cancelled bankruptcies,etc. If you send them any money the debt renews.
IGNORE THEM. Each state has laws that apply to this and odds are that they are in violation of them.

Didn't answer my phone when these calls come in. I have caller ID so I won't answer the phone when they call.
