I got the same thing. They even called a co/worker of mine and told him the same thing. Now it is going around work. If you call the F.T.C @18773824357 you can make a complaint.

Got a call from this number 774-221-8770.  Like many others I was on hold for a long while, I did speak to someone.  They were trying to reach x daughter inlaw.  Said they mailed something to my address on March 4, however we never received,  How do we stop this type of call, so we don't receive any more.

Received a phone call from this 774-221-8770 number telling me there is a legal complaint against me, however I do not even live in US!

Do not believe this stupid son of xxx, and wondering can something be done? Will the police be able to trace the source of the phone call, and stop this nonsense?

These people won't give up. What they don't know is I work for a bank and we are always updated on all the nasty scammers out there. Let me get them on the phone, they'd wish they never dialed my number.

the call gave a case number and mentioned restrainng order. the call came from 774-221-8770 and felt very threatening.

My best friend just received a call from this company!  I have been an attorney for several years and have seen these types of calls/cases for a very long time.  Lawsuit will be forthcoming on this call!!!!!!! If you are registered with the "Do Not Call Registry", this is a prime type of call that necessitates the Registry. BLOCK their number!!!  What a BOGUS type of business!  It is a shame that scammers can use info they purchase to scare the crap out of anyone and everyone!
Folks - DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK!!!!!  My friend nearly suffered a heart attack because of these idiots!!!

Hey everyone!  could these calls be a result of info sold by your phone company?  Think about it for a minute - some companies offer home and cellular phones.  If they sold your info - they would have sold home and cell info.  Look out FTC!  Complaints will be coming your way!!!!!

I just got the same call here in TX....scared me to death....almost.
Tried to call back and all the mailboxes are full so I googled and thank goodness found all of these similar incidents.

This was about having a restraining order against me & that I need to call & contact them at this number 774-221-8770. Also left claim #ML13-2797

They just called me.  When I tried calling back to let them know they were calling about my brother who has been dead for 9 years, it said the voice mail was full and to call back later.
I'm with you.  What kind of scum would use and defile a beloved deceased realtives name?!

I just got the call as well.they said I have to appear in court as well. Should I be worried?

Rec'd same threats as above comments today.  I also have NO ties to the state of Mass., and don't know a single person who lives there now or in the past.  This is a nasty far-reaching SCAM of biblical proportions.  It was UN-nerving to say the least.  These people need to be found and hung in a public square where they can be tortured in a physical way to match the mental distress they are causing so many innocent people.

This cracks me up!  They said a "Restraning order has been placed"  Awesome! No problem!  I'll stay away!!! [***].  Don't be frightened, this is a JOKE!  They are crossing so many lines by having this automated crap call anyone.  Just report this issue until this gets stopped!

got message, returned call, called my lawyer, he's dealing with it

civil investigation.  restraining order.  NATIONAL LEGAL CORPORATION.    When I tried calling it back  they said the mail box was full.  or you could press 0  to leave a message.    Seems like I would have received something certified if this was legit.

Got the same call this morning.  Legally I don't think they would even be able to give the "Case number" over the phone anyway.  I worked in the court system for years and I have never heard of anyone being advised a head of time that they are getting a restraining order....lol....it just happens.  I did call back and pressed every number, got no one...all of their "mailboxes are full", how convenient!!!!  I just wanted to ask has any of you contacted an attorney at all about this just to see what they say?
