775-337-1194 calls every Mon/Tues. night at 1:00 am.  They do not leave a number.  This is not an appropriate time to call.

I took this call and it was a survey about my local banks. Very benign, and I don't mind helping out with market research. Surveys are exempt from the DNC list.

The person told me it was a customer service call for Lowes.  It was lunch time so I told them to call back in 10 minutes.  They did and I didn't answer.  I'm also on a DO NOT CALL list.

This number keeps calling, but hangs up after rings.  I will try the Police Station idea if they ever stay on the line long enough.  Thanks for this service!!

This number has been calling my fax machine at 3am and 9am several times per week.  I called the number back and there is a recording stating the company is Consumer Research Opinion.  I left a message to remove my phone number from their database.

Received calls (unanswered, as we weren't home) at 6:40 and 8:20 pm on consecutive nights.  Caller ID just indicates it is a "Nevada call," and whitepages.com lists it as an unlisted landline in Reno, Nevada.

Got a call from this number on a Sunday.  Did the 12 hello's with no response from the caller and then the line disconnected.  Located information here and it was for a company called Opinion Research.  I called the main number listed by another poster and they admitted it was them and said they would remove my number.

I receive 2-3 calls each day for the past month from this number.  Thank goodness for caller id and a talking phone that announces who the call is from. I get calls every day, sometimes at 7 am on a Sunday and as late as 9 during the week.  Haven't a clue who or why?  They never leave a message.  I figure if it is important at least they would leave some kind of message.  Tired of trying to explain to the kids why I don't answer the phone when it rings.

I just call 800-444-4672 and was transfered to a Warren Frankel who is in charge of the call centers. He has removed my nymber per my request from their database.

This is AWESOME advice and the number is accurate.  You will have to spell his name out on your touch tone phone if after-hours.  I left him a number toned message merely giving out my phone number, stating we are on the DNC list, and requesting we be removed from their calling list.  I also let him nicely know that, in the meantime, each time I receive an unsolicited call from his corporation that I would be calling him personally!

The only way to get rid of these idiots is to turn the game around on them.  I have some contacts in NJ with access to unpublished numbers and will work on obtaining his.  If that happens, I will post it here and then Mr. Frankel can see firsthand what a pain in the ass it is to get random calls at all hours of the day and night.

If fact, a few calls at 3am, might open his eyes a bit.  How about every hour on the hour?

I think this is an EXCELLENT way to turn the table.  Find the execs of these companies and turn the tables back on them.  *69 and calls from 30 pissed of people receiving unsolicited calls at 2,3,4,5am could really ruin a businessman's nights sleep.  Awwwww *small violin playing*

Opinion Research is a long-established survey research house.  Nevertheless I find it annoying that they call and don't leave any messages, nor is their number correctly reported by caller ID.  I would be happy to cooperate with ORC if they (a) identified themselves correctly via Caller ID, and (b) left a message indicating that they want to conduct a survey with me and asking me to call back.  Otherwise I will continue to add to the non-respondent ranks for these studies.

I have conducted political polling in the past using a variety of methods including telephone surveys.  We always identified ourselves completely to our prospective respondents.  I did this in the 1980's when Caller ID and answering machines were much less common than today, however.  If I were conducting surveys now, I'd abide by (a) and (b) above.

Survey research is exempt from the Do Not Call list.

They have been calling for the 4 days, at least 2x a day! Morons!!!

They called me 1-2 times everyday. I'm sick of them. I don't know who is calling. They never left any message!! I got their 775-337-1194 from caller ID !! Maybe spam as junk ??!

Got another one.Have to turn on my comp.again and download "no sales calls"...again for another free trial month...Write those numbers down for those annoying callers and save them . If you got a comp. with a phone modem your halfway there.you need caller id to make it work .I dont get maybe two calls a week ,considering 2 min. to 4 calls per day from assorted telemarketers, scammers,"political calls","extended warranty calls ",for cars I dont even own anymore,loan (SHARKS) companies trying to track down some relative or "aquaintance" who ended up putting MY phone #on the loan application...
Ya'll can "[***] all ya want".It aint gonna stop these kinds theives by putting your phone #on this so-called "do not call list". Where do you think they get those lists to call you from? Ohbama's files on you?...Do you order "take out food" and pay with a check ,debit, credit ? Than I'm sorry to say that "your'e on the list too!
