darn! leave a message... we screen our calls!

just recently made a major appliance purchase.  the call is HARMLESS; they just want to know if the delivery and set-up of the new appliance was successful. this IS a legitimate opinion research organization/call center.

just answer any of these calls and say

detective {any name you  want} and say
you have reached a multible  crime scene and this phone is  tapped, you will be contacted at home or at work with in the next 24 hours..Then hang up!! THE  CALLS STOP!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call and true to everyone else when I didnt answer they didnt leave a message either. But its a survey for wells fargo bank.They took over wacovia and I had an account with them 10 years ago so according to the Do Not Call, since I did business with them no matter how long ago they can contact me. That stinks and oh yeah, the DNC registry is a laugh, they just collect info they dont do or have the power to do a thing. I checked and they have never fined any one. Better to just not answer these calls and they go away.

Just file a complain with the BBB (www.bbb.org) online if they refuse to stop calling.

received a call from this.  caller id stated "nevada call 775-337-1194".  call came in on a sunday morning.  wth?

Just got a call  on my home phone from 1-775-337-1194. I was on my cell phone at the time so I didn't answer,when the answering machine picked up they didn't leave a message just hung up.
Don't bother me on a Sundy afternoon. I am on DNC list.

Rec'd many calls from these folks. Annoying.  Delighted by the post that says the way to stop them is to reply "[City name] Police Department.  How may I direct your call?"

I just received a call from this number tonight.  I didn't answer either and then checked the number on the web.  I too, am on the DNC list, however, it apparently doesn't seem to matter.  Thank goodness for this site.

The number keeps showing on my biz line after i'm closed. They called during biz hours today and when i answered, I got ringing as though i was calling someone. I let it ring many times and then it paused and switched to a fast busy tone. Geez, if you're gonna call me, have the decency to do it with some sort of human interface. This is one step lower than the robo calls that have recordings when you pick up the phone. I have no idea what they're looking for, but they sure aren't gonna get it like this!

This number Nevada call 775-337-1000 has showed up on my caller ID several times.  Getting tired of this I called back and it was answered as "Opinion Research"  I asked them to removed my number from their  list and the man  replied that this was Opinion Research number and did not apply to the DNC list.  He said he would remove my number from the list if I gave him my number.  I replied...you already have my number.  He replied that they do many opinion polls all over the country and I would have to give him my number to be removed from these lists.  Silly me, I gave it to him and and hope they keep their word.  We will see.  I asked for his name and he said it was Jim.. Now will see what happens?

Received a phone call from Patty from ORC. She asked me to do a 10-minute survey about group health insurance carriers. She basically asked me about my opinion on various group health insurance carriers. The survey did indeed take 10 minutes.

I just called the main number of ORC (Opinion Research Company) at the main number (1-775-337-1000). A woman answered the phone and was very nice. I stated that I've been getting these calls and would like to be taken off the list. She said "no problem", and asked my phone number and confirmed it's a 'business'. I stated that no, it is my personal cell phone, and she apologized and was very surprised.  She called me back 5 minutes later to confirm I've been removed from their call list.

That easy folks- just take some action instead of getting worked up and getting frustrated at the person doing their job and calling numbers on a list that their supervisor probably gave them.  Can't shoot the messenger!

Please stop calling me unless you intend to speak to me.

Just got a call from this number. It is still the opinion research crap. Go to the donotcall.gov website and file a comlaint. This will not stop until people complain enough to make it stop.

The caller Opinion Reserch at 755 337 1194 Is harasing me. I have informed them that I am on the national no call list and they just keep calling.

at least identify yourself or leave a message...you are on my do not call list
