I got called twice today - Jan 24/09 - and I just used Shaw's *60 to block the number.

the phone id says OUT_OF_AREA AND THE NUMBER IS 778-785-4259 and when you answer the phone noone is there

If you call 1 866 760 9201 ( Bell Canada ) give them the harassers number they will get you removed from the telemarketers system.

You know these people are only doing their job.  If you don't want to take the calls its a simple thing to just not pick it up geeezz ... don't you complainers have anything better to do with YOUR lives?

Have called me 3 times in the past two weeks

Ask for "Lady of Man of the house" - I tell them they arent avaliable.

But now after reading all these comments, I'm going to get sneaky with those buggers. We are on the national do not call as well.

Companies like Healthtek are such a waste of time.  Just think about it, if a company's product was legit, why would you have to stoop so low just to make a sale.  There was a story in the news where Healthtek sold a vacuum to an elderly lady for $4000.00.  These pathetic low lifes probably don't think there was anything wrong with selling a $300 Vacuum to a senior for $4000 because they are all uneducated and are in survival mode.  Here is a message to all the loosers at Healthteck..Why don't you all go and get some education so you can have some decency and earn a legitimate living.  Just think about it, playing the stupid you won a prize game, then needing the address so the "prize" can be delivered to your house...just so a salesperson can try a sell you a piece of garbage vacuum cleaner...so sad...that you have to work in such an operation with low standards.

this person has been calling for the last couple of weeks here as well...no one ever picks up when we call back..these are new numbers for cell phones and residential on the island ..if ppl dont mind where are people from?  is this just a local prob...

Scam.  Some idiot who doesn't speak English identified herself as "getting paid by her boss" to ask questions from a survey.  Told her to not call my number again and then said if she didn't stop, I'd hunt her down & kill her!  Then I hung up.

I'm getting called once or twice a day sometimes from this number. If I answer, there is never anyone there. If I don't answer, they don't leave a message. Anyone know if a class action lawsuit is possible against the phone companies (Telus in my case) that persist in delivering this kind of crap into our homes?

I have been receiving calls from 604-520-3565 & when I answered they said they were doing the survey.  I did answer a couple of questions but refused to give my last name or address.  They called back to say I won a prize of a couple of days in a hotel or $100 certificate for any grocery store I wanted to shop in.  They asked me for my address to send it to me & I told them I wanted to check them out first & they gave me another phone #604-629-7983 & the website. I am glad I checked this out & found it only by accident.  They called again today but I did not answer.

Thanks for posting the real #I just phoned phone them and told them I'm not happy and they should read about themselves on google.I'm also making a complaint.

This number: 778-785-4259 appeared on my caller id. I don'st have any business with this person/s. Would someone tell me how to rid of this bug of a person/s? Calling NDNCL is not worth the effort. They give you any excuses not to do anything, and they don't seem to care.

honestly some ppl have no lives...they jus trying to see if your home alone or not, and want to break into ur place.

They called today around noonish Eastern Time. My flaky phone showed "No Data" - I never pick up calls that don't show the number, so I didn't pick up this time. I'm with Primus for home phone service, so I logged onto their website and accessed my account just to check what number has just called me... it was 778-785-4259. Did some research on the net (this site). So... with a couple of clicks of the mouse I put the number on the list of blocked numbers and called it a day. Now I know they will never call me again. Oh they may try calling but I will never know.

Got this call Aug 8 2009,as it came in I googled it and refused to answer after reading others getting the same.

OMG they never quit calling gonna do the no call list again ... ugh the jerks and yes the ring back is busy .

They called me several times but I never answered until they stopped. Here is a tip: Don’t ever answer the phone if it says UNKNOWN CALLER or U don’t know the caller ID. All they want to know is that the phone number they are calling is in use and that there will be someone there around that time next time they want to phone you with a different phone number for marketing /up selling purpose.
They want to get rich with your help but aren’t doing it the right way.

I answered this call to my cell phone after MANY of their phone calls.  Its a call centre from the Phillpines called "SBT Research".  They game me their head office phone # for a complaint and it was a bogus #.  They assured me the cell phone # would be taken off their call list and that "as far as their company is concerned" we wouldn't be called.  I will find out clients that use SBT Research and spread the word to their clients that those products will not be used.  I tried this with a fax marketing company and began phoning and faxing their customers - it worked!

I checked my history of calls since last Monday. 46 times this number has called me. 46!

They phone during the day when I'm not home, occasionally, they'll phone in the evening. I answered their call this evening and the lady on the other end claims she couldn't tell me who was calling.

These harassers have absolutely no right to be harassing me. Calling 46 times is too much! There has to be a law against this.
