did not sign up for text messages just because someone checks out your "site"does not give you the right to start harrassing them and now getting charged for texts.  cancel everything that has anything to do with you

You can text STOP back to them and should receive another text that says you are unsubscribed. I just did that and got a text back. We will see if they stop now. if that doesn't work go to the FCC website and submit a complaint reporting them. You can call them or email them, too. the info is in one of the comments on this site, too.
What makes me sad is that I donated to the Haiti relief by texting and shortly after that is when i started getting these spam texts. I haven't texted to any other 5 digit numbers but that one. I don't sign up online for many things and give my cell number, but that's where they get your number, too, so maybe it's from something like that. I hope it wasn't from texting the donation...that would be disappointing if they were selling our info.
