hi how did you do it?.i've been charged £262 on my daughters contract way t-mobile she supposidly played on gangster paradise...we cant find any evidance of this..i even tried to retreive username and password with email and got told it did'nt exist on their database..totally at my wits end here...txtnation said if any passwords had'nt been used id get refunded..yes 1 out of 26...daughter deniying ever being near game..cant find emails,cookies etc to prove she;d played.....

Ive had the same problem my son who is 13 used my phone texted this gangsparadise my phone bill is £1750  . Ive been in touch with txt nation who spoke to the owner Anthony Linton who said has a goodwill gesture he will refund half . I He has had £250 I said Im not paying no more . He has now said he is now refunding nothing . I have sought legal advise also the police have been involved . This 20 year old kid is conning people . If you are reading this Linton See you in court . Also if anyone is interested in contacting watchdog Ive already spoke with them . Please get intouch with me

Hi Lisa over the last couple of days they have taken £150  only found out when phone was blocked as went over crdit limit, I have rang one of the directors Jonathan Rowsell who claims to know nothing of the scam and just asked me to ring the office tomorrow. what did watchdog say I may email them aswell

If you are asked to send a message to 78878 and it begins with GP, dont! gangparadise.com is an online text based game. We have a "credits" system, people can buy credits to aid in levelling up. Apparently some people have taken it up on themselves to start hacking emails or sending texts and sadly ripping people off. Ignore the texts or emails

Dave.. Did you send off these texts too? with GP at the beggining? ~Did you recieve codes in the other texts? If you look through the replies Anthony Linton, the Admin of GP has posted on here. He can trace those codes.

I managed to delay them with conversation for a while until i checked the web about this number as i found it suspicious when they said i wouldnt get charged for it. Needless to say I saw this site read it and didnt text. Forget contacting the police, I say you find them and demand your money back out of their own pockets.

To whom it may concern, I have been in touch with txtnation and gangparadise and I have blocked and traced upto 57 of the caller numbers from which purchases were made.

I am still tracking down more numbers to find the culprits behind this act, so please if you are affected in any way because of the scam please get in touch with me ASAP.

how do you stop them texting because they have sent me 2 texts and it cost me £10 per text and i texted back stop and im still getting texts my current balace on my contract is £200 off them

You can send 'STOP' to 78878 or call txtnation on 01752484333 and tell them to block your number from their service. I have done this and blocked my number and no more texts are coming to me.
