800-210-9011

Stephanie called and talked really, really fast. She said she was the AP person from ??? company and kept getting my voicemail. I was to call her at 1-800-210-9011 option 1 extension 1985. I called and got an automated answerer who told me they were American Power and I was to press 1 for sales or 2 if I was an existing customer. Since I didn't want to be sold anything and I am not a current customer, I just hung up. This kind of stuff drives me nuts.

Michelle from APG called me at HOME and left a message to call her back at ext. 1719 about the electric accounts at my Church. I called her back and told her this would be a BRIEF conversation and that the Church was NOT interested in changing electric or gas providers. She still wanted to make her sales pitch so I simply said Thank You and hung up the phone.

guys called and left a voicemail "hello-this is braden from american power and gas. please call me back at 800-210-9011 ext 1726" absolutley no identifying WHO he is calling for (this number rings into a main number for 4 diff companies - no explanation of reason FOR call or what we need to call back about-

Probable spam/scam. Back to back calls to my cell phone, three minutes apart from the same person at 3:43 & 3:46pm. First call started with “good afternoon”, second one was “good morning.”
“Good morning this is Anthony Iser (sp?) calling with APG New York can you please return my call at 800-210-9011 extension 1668 thank you.”

Received a call from from a man named "Michael" which I am sure is not his real name..
Talked so fast and had "boiler room" noise in background. Could get me 25% discount on electric bill. Stated we should have received mailed info on it( we did not!!) He asked me to get our electric bill and turn to page three. Now I know they want that number on that page to get us to change third party suppliers...Anyway I asked for something in writing to compare these " great rates"
He refused, so I asked for the 800 number(800-210-9011) extension 3537 and lo and behold I google it and find pages of complaints against them.  SCAMMERS!!
Isn't there a way to report them??

First sign that they are scammers is the caller ID showed me a local phone number.  They wouldn't be trying to hide if they were legit.

Sam called and said she was from APG and had been trying to get ahold of the owners to save them money but needed a copy of the utility bills. I told her I wasn't in the office, which I was, and that I would call back, or if I didn't, she could call Monday. This would allow me time to google and get info as I never give info out w/o doing research. After googling the number she gave me, instead of the one she called on, and I was right on them being scammers.
