800-215-1921

Folks, I just went through this not 1 minute ago. Called Cap One, talked to a rep, she called the fraud dept. who talked to me about a past fraud charge. This 800-215-1921 number is the real deal verified by Cap One. Nice people to work with, didn't ask anything that raised a flag with me.

I received a call from 1-800-215-1921 saying they were from capital one fraud department.  They were wanting to confirm a prior charge that was on my card weeks and they had the amount and vendor name.  I had cancelled my credit card within one day when I noticed a charge from www.chewy.com site. I asked the guy to email me and have not received any email.  I will call the capital one number on the back of my card and follow up.

It IS a scam re: Capital One,

I got a voice mail from this number and like others I called the number on the back of my card. They looked it up and confirmed that it was a valid call, following up on a fraudulent charge from two months ago.
