Who call me?

Received call on my cell (I'm DNC) @ 10:37 a.m., 4.14.17 asked to speak to my husband.  The person gave my husband's full name, told her I'm his wife - she asked if she could leave a message.  I informed her my husband does not speak on the phone, she could talk to me.  She hung up. She did not give me a chance to explain why my husband does not talk on phone.

The company is called NPAS, (National Patient Account Services). They are a collection agency.

I keep getting calls from this number however I never answer when I do not recognize the number. They never leave a message so it must not important enough.

5/21/18:  NPAS apparently is alive and well.  lol.  We're just starting to receive calls from them (8002239899) this past week, and are fairly certain that they will mercilessly hound us for months to come.  I'm thankful for this forum, everyone's input is valuable in helping combat this type of 'business.'  Our best to all of our fellow suferrers!!

Legit call. VA made a paperwork mistake and didn't pay for ambulance service. Phone rep was professional and took the information without issue.

Shill Post?  I am suspicious of your report.
- NPAS is a medical debt collector and I doubt they care much about correcting a VA mistake.
- What are you doing here looking up a number that you already knew about?
- OSCP = Overly Satisfied Customer Post. Your post reads like an advert and could be taken as way to encourage the unwary to think that picking up or returning a call to this number is going to be one of the Happiest Days of their Life.

NPAS does not get such glowing reviews 800notes or the internet in general, and I think it makes sense to be careful about calls from this number.

This company is constantly trying to get personal information without identifying themselves. They continue to call the wrong number asking for a non existent individual we have never heard of. Even after being informed they have the wrong number they continue to call and harass people!

Someone born in 1993 would be 26. Not totally impossible for a 9 year old to get pregnant (had friends begin menstruating young like that) but it would be a case of rape and also none of your business.

Not illegal to call after 8am
