They just tried to scam me thirty mins ago... They knew my address already. They asked about the weather. They also asked my age and what school i went to. Now i am thinking this is the same people from a membership i am already in.So I started asking questions and he got off the phone by saying that he will call me back later at another time... So now i began to get nervous and call the number back, which was a bunch of bs... I thought they had info on me as far as my bank card number and my account number already. Reading these comments confirmed to me that they was trying to get that type info out of me, but I rosed some concerns which made them get nervous. So now i know not to pick up for them ever again... If i recieve mail from them i will not open it, I will just throw it straight in the garbage!!!!!!!!

i likes that!!! So if you did not give them your information as far as your bank car number or your account number, do you think they will bill you??( as far as them having the info already)

I got a call from this number and it was the same magazine scam. The trainee said her name was Stephanie, but then again so did the supervisor. They didn't say what company they were calling for, but they said they knew my address and wanted a bunch of other information. Definitely a SCAM!!

I also received calls from 18002591694. I ordered a few magazines and they took the initial 19.16 out my account. I tried calling within the 10 day trial period and only got recordings. Who are these people? I'm still waiting on my magazines. Is there a real number to talk to a real person???? Someone needs to investigate these people. They sent a letter with what my order was and gives you this 800 number....

Once I told them that I never ordered anything, they hung up.  But I'd like to know where they got my name and number from.  I'm not sure what state any of you are in but I suggest reporting them to the attorney general.

I was called by a seller from this company apparently.  And few days later I recieved a letter from this company allowing me to cancel which I wanted to do even though I never agreed to purchase any kind of subscription from them.  Carla Thomas, a Customer Representative, who apparently wrote this letter was not available nor was anyone else to recieve my cancellation.  Please call and comfirm my cancellation to any and all subscriptions.  Thank you!

I CANT GET OUT OF THIS! I have tried to pay my bill of with these stupid people since I am involved with this dumb scam! I can't believe this! Even when they make offers they always say it is like 400 dollars or something. Then oneday they call and say that I have good credit history with them since I pay my bill on time and stuff and so they said they would offer it to me for 14.15 a month so like 5 bucks off what I was paying. Come to find out I now get charged 14.15 a month PLUS 19.86 a month!!! WFFreak?! This is the dumbest thing EVER! I want to kill all the people that work for them for allowing innocent people to get involved with such a crazy scam!

I received a call from them thinking that it was a magazine company that I have dealt with.  Then I received a notice and a list of magazines to choose from and when I tried to call them, I got placed on hold and was unable to find the website.  There agreement states that I am able to cancel my order within ten days of the telephone call.  But if I don't they will get their money from me anyway possible, I think it states "to the fullest extent of the law in my state.  What am I to do, and I'm trying to rebuild my credit, this will just make it worse!

This number called three times today, and hung up on my answering service.  My caller ID lists them as "800 service".  No mention of publishing or magazines.

these people called none stop for three days straight now and i used another of the comments bellow of callijng and leaving vm at ext 101 and thretining with bbb and state attorney of ny and recording  message by my lawyer and state attorney hope it works these people are [***]

This is not a repost, this just happened to me: I just recieved a phone call on my cell from (256) 263-4255. They said they were Publisher House and they were calling to see if I had got my magazines. I said I don't get magazines. Then the guy asked me about the weather in PA. I hung up on him. He knew my name and what stated I lived it. I called the number back and got a customer service stating they were closed, when they had just called. So, I put in ext. 1234 and this recording came on for a girl named Heidi who no longer works for collections and gave two more numbers: 1-800-476-3053 and 1-800-259-1649. I googled both and here it is scammers. Here is the link to other people this has happened too. yeah they have my info and have taken their first $20 out of my account i called to cancel this bogus agreement that i supposedly had with them, and conviently got an answering machine. it states in their letter that if you did subscribe and now wanted to cancel that you could do so within 3days of the mailing post date wich was the 29th of April. That would be Saturday if im not mistaken why does their answering machine state their operating hours are Mon.thru Thurs.? But besides that its Mon. now and all day since my mail ran at 1:30 and I got this letter they have not answered my attemptsto reach them. Im guessing thats my deadline and their gonna try and get over $500 outof me? Im 50 yrs old and permanantly disabled, im on a fixed income and very very much a novice to the internet and its dealings. Besides canceling my credit card for another, what can I, or we do to get what has already been taken from us financially as well as emotionally with our personal info? this person just called my job asking for me. i answered the phone, and took a message for myself......the person on the other end, not knowing it was me, told me that there was a legal case against me and that if i didnt call them back by the end of the day they would be here in the morning at my workplace to arrest me.
