THEY ARE CALLING 7 DAYS PER WEEK, 4 TO 5 TIMES PER DAY....IT'S WELLS FARGO AND I DO HAVE A 48 MOS SAME AS CASH ACCOUNT WITH WELLS FARGO THRU A PURCHASE AT THE TEMPURPEDIC MATTRESS COMPANY. ALTHOUGH I HAVE PAID TO THEM A MONTHLY PAYMENT EQUAL TO 1/48TH OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE MATTRESS (SO AT THE END OF THE 48 MONTHS THE BALANCE WILL BE ZERO AND INTEREST FREE), THEY HAVE DETERMINED THAT THEY WILL BE THE ONES TO DECIDE WHAT MINIMUM PAYMENT I MUST MAKE EVERY MONTH...WHICH HAPPENS TO BE $40 MORE PER MONTH THAN THE PAYMENT CALCULATED TO SATISFY THE LOAN WITHIN THE 48-MONTH TIME PERIOD. THEY SAY THEY ARE NOW ASSESSING ME LATE CHARGES EACH AND EVERY MONTH DUE TO THE FACT THAT I CONTINUE TO PAY WHAT I AGREED TO...ONE FORTY-EIGHTH OF THE ORIGINAL BALANCE (OR $90/MONTH) AND NOT THE $130/MONTH THEY WANT. MY ADVICE......DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO BUSINESS WITH WELLS FARGO OR ANY VENDOR WHO USES WELLS FARGO TO PROVIDE YOU WITH FINANCING. THEY ARE RIPPING OFF THE PEOPLE AND BLAMING THE GOVERNMENT FOR THIS....I WILL RETURN MY MERCHANDISE AND WASH MY HANDS OF THEM AND THEIR DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES COMPLETELY. YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME! I WOULD LOVE FOR A GOOD ATTORNEY TO GET A NICE CLASS ACTION SUIT GOING AGAINST THEM....I WOULD SIGN UP FOR THAT FOR SURE!!!

KRAZY SAYS THIS IS A FRAUDULENT NUMBER? THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT CORRECT. I RETURNED THEIR CALL AND THEIR ANSWERING SERVICE IDENTIFIED THEM AS WELLS FARGO FINANCIAL, THE OPERATOR IDENTIFIED ALL OF MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION, I.E., PURCHASE PRICE, THE TERMS (48 MONTHS SAME AS CASH), THE DOLLAR AMOUNTS OF PAYMENTS THEY RECEIVED FROM ME AND WHEN, AND THE DOLLAR AMOUNTS THEY "EXPECT" TO RECEIVE OR THEY WILL CHARGE ME LATE PAYMENT PENALTIES. HOW CAN THIS EVEN BE RIGHT? THEY JUST DONT LIKE IT THAT I'M PAYING THEM EVERY MONTH LIKE CLOCKWORK THE AMOUNT WHICH WILL CLEAR MY ACCOUNT WITHIN THE 48-MONTH CONTRACT PERIOD AND THEY WILL RECEIVE NO INTEREST FROM ME, SO THEY DEVELOP A NEW TACTIC TO TRY TO SOAK ME.....NOPE - NOT PLAYING THAT GAME WITH THE CORPORATE CROOKS! I READ AN ARTICLE ABOUT A MAN WHO HAD A SIMILAR "ISSUE" WITH WELLS FARGO AND HE WENT TO THE PRESS.......END RESULT.....THEY DROPPED THE FEES!! STAND UP PEOPLE!! FIGHT FOR WHAT'S RIGHT!!

Be very carefull in dealing with Wells Fargo Financial, I had a woman tell me since the feds changed credit card laws, their interest rate is 24.9% !!!!!! The Feds are really looking out for the customer, corporate america.

I'm sure it's Wells Fargo...they call every month if the payment is not there by 9/1, 10/1 etc....I've explained that I've never incurred any late fees, please check my record, they say they are unable to check the record....it must be some kind of legal maneuvering for them to know the status...
They called this afternoon with a recorded message and expected me to stay on hold for their important information....I just sent them a text message and told them to stop calling, check my record...

Harassment with the number of calls received in a day's time every day.
Have household member who retires early to get up at 2 am for work.
Owing money you don't have is not helped by harassment calls. No voice on the other end. Understand it is a Wells Fargo number - some sites say it is a sales call, some say collection, others say scam and they had their bank account hit with unwanted withdrawals. We don't give personal info.
Take a Financial Peace University Class and learn how to get your debts under control with what money you do have and how to respond to credit collectors. Do not get into same situation by not ever having another credit dealing.  Learn how with FPU or read Dave Ramsey's book.  One day I will be free of the collection blood suckers. Don't give them info - call the company to make arrangements yourself. They have your info already.

    Get this crap,

I got a letter thru FedEx from Wells Fargo Financial. It said that they paid my property taxes due to a parcel number mistake. It also said this was one of many attempts to get hold of me. I called the number on the letter to get to the bottom of this and that was the beginning of the my phone being blown up. After much digging I found that my mortgage company paid all the property taxes for the year. The County claims they did recieve a payment from Wells Fargo but it wasnt at all for the ammount due. They also show a payment from my mortgage company. Wells Fargo then got a Collection Agency after me. I had a 3 way call with them and the County and the collector never called again. About 30 days later Wells Fargo started calling again. I have not answered. somewhere between 9 and 12 calls a day from 3 different numbers. I told them that if they were a legitamate part of Wells Fargo then their fight is with the county and not with me. I have paid everything I should have in taxes. Lol, and my phone is ringing now!! 3rd time this morning and it's 9:27AM

It is an 800 number with no reference - call number of times per day - why don't they leave a mesage which includes their company name - NOT JUST CAL a certain number? May be collection people who have a right to cal once a day or maybe it is a SCAM

Yes it is Wells Fargo and you can call them at this number to find out the problem. Below is something I didn't know so I'll paste it below.

    1. FDCPA only applies to 3rd Party Collection Agencies. This is probably the MOST prevalent misconception I get about FDCPA. It simply does not cover the original creditor. In fact, there is no Federal Law that covers creditor collection efforts. So, technically speaking, an original creditor, say Citibank, can curse at you, call you at midnight, tell your neighbors you owe a debt to them and generally operate without rules. Now, I should note that most ethical creditors operate under self-imposed guidelines that are close to FDCPA and there are state laws in some states that apply to original creditors (Texas for example). However, there is no Federal Law covering original creditors.

I don't bother picking it up. If there too lazy to have a real person call me numerous times a day. Well then, it's not that important to them or me in fact.

This is starting out of the blue.  They call at 8:35 and 8:51pm for 3 days now at the 8002666932 number and once from the 515-331-9421 this number is identified as Wells Fargo on caller ID.  I do have a 3yrs same as cash no interest with them and it is due on the 12-the15th of each month I pay it on the 1st of each month so what are they calling about.  If it is something to do with this loan then send me a letter in the mail don't phone bomb me everyday.  I might just pay this low balance off just to get rid of them.  Wells Fargo you SUCK.

    full of questions?
I received a call that was in Spanish. They left a long message that I could not understand. After the message ended, I heard a weak male voice say hello and the call ended. Anyone else get any calls like this?
