I don't answer calls I don't recognize..I had the experience of doing that and had the same experience that some of these other posts have had..very aggressive..JUST DONT ANSWER..if legit they will send something in the mail..

Tired of people calling me about accounts that are unrecognizable.  What is wrong with a government that allows people to be harassed by people who will not make themselves known to you, but ask you to verify information about yourself.  Tired of phone calls and junk mail from life insurance and funeral insurance company.  Things are truly getting out of hand.  You call in reference to a bill you owe and you get someone in the Phillippines....TIRED, TIRED, TIRED

I don't answer the phone and they don't leave a message. I just assume that they are a telemarketer.

Call come from Vanthus Capital, almost daily. Decided to pick it up today and request to be removed from their list. The receptionist was mouthy and acted as if I had insulted her.
She had the temerity to imply the daily calls to my  number did not matter as I have never spoken with anyone from Vanthus. As if ringing my number each day at dinner time didn't matter.

Either way, they should now have a recording saying my number will be removed from their list. I will use this post as a time stamp of when that happened, should they lie and I need to contest a judgement against me in case they keep calling and I need to take them to court.
