- jrat| 1 replyCalls my cell # every day, never leaves a message. I called back from my office and it says "Wells Fargo Dealer Services". I did recently purchase through dealer that was financed through WF, but I dont have any clue why they are they are calling me AND more importantly why don't they leave a message? I have called the auto dealer to see what's up with this.
- Prof. K. replies to TomIt is now Wells Fargo Dealer Services -- recently sold out to Wells Fargo
- bthy replies to ErinI already had a call from Wells Fargo to verify the info I gave when I purchased a vehicle and they left a message when I didn't get a chance to answer the call, which was a different number. My experience is that if they don't leave a message it's not a legite call or important ! Wells Fargo has been around too long not to leave a message on your phone if it's important. Think about it and why would they call you at night when they are closed after 5pm? i've had to calls so far from this number and they never leave a message so I don't call them back.
- Really? replies to loriIt's a scan? What are they scanning for? I hope it's cancer...I could use a cancer screening over the phone. Thanks for the help, I'll answer next time!!
- MiaAfter reading the information here, I figured this could go on for months, and I returned the call. Had to ignore the automatic menu to be shifted to a service representative who asked for my name and account number. I gave him my name, pleasantly explained that we had no account, told him that my husband and I had each received (missed) calls on our cell phones within about 20 minutes of each other, that I had looked the number up on line before calling back.I assured him that we had no loans with Wells Fargo, had not cosigned any loans and would be grateful for his help stopping the calls.
He was pleasant and courteous, asked for the originating number, then took our numbers, went away, and when he returned said that the calls should stop within 24 hours, and simply to ignore any future calls from that number. Note that he did NOT ask for my social security number. (I was prepared to give him just the last four digits if he had.)
Being able to look calls up here is a treasure. Thanks to all of you who have taken time to leave information. (Let's hope!)- Caller: Wells Fargo Auto Finance

- mikeThis is Wachovia Dealer Services, now Wells Fargo dealer services. My car note is late.
- DAvid replies to CristalWacovia Dealer Financial Services
- SteveIt is wells fargo or at least that makes sense considering I just purchased a car and financed through them. The funny thing is, everytime they call and I pick up it goes to an automated person that just says "Thank you for holding, all lines are busy" and then it just hangs up. So dumb.
- SkellyI have been harassed by wells Fargo dealer services. I want to know if there may be a class action law suit against them. Surely, they are not just singling me out to bother. I have had them tell me they have not received my payment, while I am looking at my bank account with the on line payment with amount & date right before my eyes!
- Caller: Wells Fargo dealer services

- TamiThis phone number is the customer service number for Wells Fargo Dealer Services, it formally was Wachovia but Wells Fargo bought out Wachovia when they were going out of business. It's a legit number - no scam here.
