    I had a few calls from them. Yes they were mean as I read the info on the website but final call, IMELDA was very nice even though I didn't gave her last 4digit of my social nomber which she was calling for.

    I have been getting calls from this number almost every day. They don't leave a message & when I answer they hang-up, so I don't know where the calls are coming from but they need to stop.

    I have received 20+ calls from this number in the last two weeks, I have answered the call at least 10 times and every time they hang up as soon as I answer.  This is getting annoying.

    Okay people. We are not trying to scam you or anything like that. We are a legit auto finance company simply trying to verify basic information. We read out your addresses, phone numbers to you & you simply say if it's correct or incorrect. We don't call you to get more information. We're simply verifying what we have on the screen in front of us. We have your FULL ssn on the screen in front of us while we are on the phone with you. We only ask for the LAST 4 numbers of your SSN to verify that you are indeed the customer on the loan. If we didn't do that, then we may be giving your info to a customer that isn't you. & since yall are already anal about giving out yalls info, I'm sure yall wouldn't want that happening. So RELAX. We also tell you when your payment is due and the amount & we can go over your payment options. & yes it is only a courtesy call, so if you don't want to take it, its okay. You will receive a welcome letter im the mail going over some of the same info we would go over on the phone. So stop being rude when we call.

    Reading the other posts makes sense .. I recently bought a car. The dealership put out a "broadcast" to multiple finance institutions for lowest rate.  Well Fargo won the bid. But because of the broadcast, Wachovia must have been one of the recipients. I get calls from this number two times a day. But since it is an unknown, I dont answer.  Since I know now, it goes to permanent reject.

    If you are truly trying to be helpful, then be [***] helpful.  Leave a god damn message stating who the [***] you are, what the [***] you want, and how the [***] to reach you should I decide to.  Calling my phone twice a day every day, up till 8pm at night isn't [***] cool, it's shady.  Not to mention, the ONE time I'm NOT at work and I actually answer your [***] annoying calls, you leave dead air for 5 seconds then hang up.  Learn how to use a [***] phone correctly, asshats!

    You should leave a message. If I'm at work, I can't pick up my cell phone all the time. I won't pick up when I'm driving either. Leaving a message stating who is calling, the reason for the call and a call back number shouldn't be that hard to do.

    Dear Wells Fargo Employee,
    It makes sense that WF would call to verify information on a new loan. What doesn't make sense is that Caller ID shows Wachovia Dealer. Since I do not know what Wachovia is or does, I have no reason to pick up my phone anticipating some meathead trying to get me to buy in to something over the phone. How about a little honesty by showing on Caller ID the real source of the call. Now that I know, the next time I receive a call from this number I'll pick up and respond accordingly.

    It is so hard when the woman(?) is so very hostile and even sometimes rude as if I actually own her money.  My account is with Wells Fargo.  I have auto bill pay.  I is and always has been current.  Yet 3 times a week I get a call asking for a payment and after 5 minutes of account research (im on hold) I get a "sorry to bother you".  I cant wait until this effing loan is paid off.  You will be getting a call 2-3 times a day until I get my title... maybe even after I get my title.

    I've received 4 calls from this number in the last 24 hours. I won't pick up. We took out a small loan a couple weeks ago and Wells Fargo picked it up. We received our welcome letters a few days ago. That's all I need. We'll be paying this off shortly. I HATE BIG BANKS! And hey, you're kind of anal yourself buster! You're rude and it sounds like you should get a different job, NOT in customer service. Something that doesn't require contact with the public? By the way thanks everyone for your input.
