I've received 19 calls since June 26. I think they keep notes on who answers the phone after the fact. They call for my mother, and I told them a couple different times that she doesn't live at my home any more and that their calls need to cease. Ever since then, they hang up directly when they hear my voice answer the phone.

As someone above said, use the call reject feature on your phone. I've just contacted my provider to add the feature to my phone service for this Xentel company alone. I'm afraid of what happens when my dementia addled mother does return home that she'll be pilfered by this scam of a company.

It shows up as FUND RAISER on my caller ID and I have talked to them before I am not sure if it is the same company but when I talked to them it was the police department taking donations to help with child finger printing and ID card to carry around wioth them. So ofcorse I would donate but they would have to send me paper form becasue I did not have the money right now, they were so hung up on making sure I would donate because it cost them a lot to do that. It came around to me not being able to donate to them but yet they send me donatin papers still and call still. Now I am not going to donate to them CALL THIS # 1-888-382-1222 I gave it a call a few days ago and it is starting to help somewhat but it can take up to 31 days IT IS THE DO NOT CALL LIST, it will take you off of all calling lists you have to do it once a year though.

I keep getting calls from these [***] too.  I just read on another blog that if you answer and keep hitting the # sign, it messes with their computer.  I haven't tried it yet, but I'm anxious to.  Also, my grandmother told me years ago to keep an air horn near your phone and when someone calls to harass you, blow them away!   Good luck!

Calls this home three and four times a day, never do they say anything

I get about 3 call a day from this number, I finaly decided to change my number and my house phone lasted  only a  day without phone call !  and this morning i get a phone call from them.... I'm so f%$#%^& upset !!!

I live in Canada, and they call my house at 8:00a.m. and then after 8:00p.m. I am getting so feed up with these calls. I am on a donot call list, which they need to abide by.
How can i get them to stop calling?

Its a collection company - for the blind I believe - a pledged $25 many months ago and they've been calling 3 or 4 time a day ever since.  What some nerds won't do for their $15 commission.

Nasty people. Call me all the time in the morning , afternoon and evening. I am very upset.

Looks like they are doing this to many people and no action has been taken against them.

This number is really pissing me off!  They call all day and wake my kids up from their nap.  When I answer the phone nobody is there.

I've been receiving calls from this number for about 2-3 weeks now; 3-5 times a day, at various times.  I've finally called them back, got re-directed to 800-254-4171 (customer service). When I called the 2nd number I was able to speak with the customer rep who, per my request, identify the company as Xentel and informed me that they provide "marketing and fundraisers for various charities." I requested my number to be removed from their directory. In return, I was asked "what about the pledge you made to XYZ"?, I told her I took care of it (which I didn't, as I made the pledge just to get them off my back :( The rep promised (in a very sulky voice) that they'll remove my number. We'll see; if that doesn't work, I'm planning on filing a complaint with a local BBB and Do-NOT-Call registry.

came back from hoidays to find my answering machine jamed with this number,how can I  get me off the call list?

These people called everyday, mostly in the evening, they don't leave a message or say nothing, it is very annoying to say the least, so stop calling me, I have nothing for you.

They call everyday sometimes twice.

I have been getting a lot of calls from 800-307-3697 and they state they are raising money for breast cancer research.  I find it interesting that they are raising money for so many different charities.  I think they are raising money for themselves.

These people call my house everyday. Finally I called them back.  Was insulted by a rude lady who said I owed $35 for a pledge made to Women Against Violence. I know this is not true.  My household does not donate as we could use more money ourselves.

An angry woman answered the phone, called me a [***] and said we needed to honor our pledge and pay it.  I told her we made no pledge.  She replied, "Uh yeah you did.  Maybe you shouldn't lie and make pledges you don't intend to pay".  This woman then proceded to cut me down saying that I was a bad person for not paying my non existant pledge.  Funny thing, they call for my bf, not me. Yet somehow, after talking to this woman, she claimed I magically owed a pledge too.  Yet, she did not even know my name.  

This number is a scam.  Always claiming to be fundraising for several causes with phoney pledges.

This number calls our house constantly, night and day...never anyone there when you pick it up. I try to ignore it but others in the house pick up! Who is this??
