Yep, hit me with the same call... I just blocked it on my cell phone also... Who isn't having a hard time right now, right? Geezz....

I got a voicemail, no call. It said I was on a prayer list and that I should join their "prayer closet". WTF?

You do know when you press this and that to remove your number, all you are doing is giving them confirmation that yours is a working number?  Get one of those small air horns in the sporting goods department and next time they call, blast that and say nothing.  It will list your number as not working.

Betcha a Dr. pepper you get even more calls now.  That does not remove you from their lists.

I think the caller IS the one that really needs prayer...

For all of you that are pressing a number on your keypad in response to these people wait untill you get your phone bill and see the nice big charge from some African or some other stink hole 3rd world Country. Good luck trying to get it removed because it will show that you agreed to what ever scam they are running by pressin #1 or #0, whatever, even though you did not.

For those on limited plans, it is not only a waste of time, it's a waste of their money/plan. So yeah, it's illegal

Auto calling message to get you number on a business le- I mean "pray list".  Called my work cell phone number.

They called saying they want to pray but need all my personal info.  As if.  Even if their intentions are honorable, you'd think that God would know who they're praying for.  I'm sure He doesn't want me to have to deal with financial fraud if I misjudge them.  ;)

BTW:  Seems this Net10 phone sucks at identifying voicemail CIDs and blocking callers.

Thanks MM for posting address information. I turned in a complaint to my state attorney generals office. Eventhough I did the automated DO NOT CALL thing on my return call, I still get calls on my cell phones at all hours of the day and night. I'm sick of this. The calls are completely pointless.

I thought it strange to get a ministry type phone call to my cell. At first I thought, what on earth I signed up for and where and how did they get my cell number? I have a TEXAS area code mobile.  Not sure who this person or minisitry is.  I called the 800 number back from a land line, pressed 1 to be removed from the list and then dial the number that is to be removed. That was it. I hope they dont call back anymore.

It was dumb to hear that recorded message then be asked to call back to be removed from list.

P.S. Im a Christian and this approach is such a turn off.  It gives other ministries a bad reputation.

They called me and some how knew my first and last name. Other people have gotten messages from them as well. CREEPY.
