If you are on the do not call list report them!!! The website where you can report them is below there is a link on the left hand side of the page where it says "file a complaint". It only takes a second and if enough people do it they will get shutdown.

That is not an option. I got the call three times this week and never was given an option to have them stop calling me. You sound like you are working for Manasseh Jordan Ministries and are just saying this to make it sound like you are not breaking the law. I am on the DO NOT CALL list and have submitted a formal complaint with the government. Anyone else that is on the do not call list and wants to submit a complaint the link to submit a complaint about a company that is breaking the law is: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx

There is a way, that you can stop these calls:
    1. Go to http://www.internetcals.com and register with a bogus name.
    2. Ones you get a new registered id, use a USB Earphones/Microphone, and start callin them, as many times, as you wish. Every time you call their tall free number, it will cost them money. You do not have to say anything, as soon as they pick up, you drop ypur call. Every time you dial their number they will have a different display number. You can do this, as many times, as you wish, they can not find your number, because the system will get random numbers from around the World. You can really do this, infinite number of times.

    P. S. Ask your friends to do the same thing... :) imagine, if you call every 30 soconds, = 120 in hour,
10 of your friends will do this =1,200 cals
    100 of friends = 12,000.... :)
Good Luck, and that will teach them a lesson to botther us... :)

If you dial their tall free number, you are confirming to them, that your number is a working number.

I think religions, politicians and charity thugs were exempted from the "Do Not Call" law. Why? It is still OUR PHONE and our air time WE pay for!!   I have stopped being nice to these thugs I tell them to look over their shoulders because I am a nut and they have pissed me off...  Leaves them speechless.

Yeah, so I got this call last night around 9pm and it was a recording... that just ticks me off.

con artist... self proclaimed prophet who wants your money.  Becasue naturally that's what a prophet needs... money?!  Right?!?  God gives them the power to heal, but not an allowance... I don't understand why the government doesn't shut these people down and throw them in jail.

I'm with you dude!  nothing like receiving a phone call that is a recording of obama talking $@#^ about romney... all of these politicians are crooks and I don't want my day to be interupted by a political candidate bashing the other candidate... I don't give a @#$% about their political slapping match. WTF is wrong with this country?

This was a desperate sounding voice telling me about how messed up my life is.  I dont need his version of God, thank you, I go to my Church every Sunday.
How  dare he call my cell phone and use up my minutes!

I got the same message. Kinda scary voice if you ask me, lol.
They might be just dialing random numbers.

I am trying to avoid calling that number back to "de-register".
That can be a way for them to confirm the number works if it's an automatic system conducting the Spam Calls.

This is definetly unacceptable! Sound like some type of scam!

I just got this call too.  It doesn't really bother me as long as they don't keep calling.  I never pick up the phone from unknown numbers anyway, so it doesn't eat up my minutes.  They left a message and I'll just ignore it.  We do live in a free country, it's only a problem when these calls become harassing and/or incessant.

And no I don't work for them or anything, I happen to be a Christian and have plenty of family and friends who pray with and for me, so I don't need whatever this group is selling.

All automated calls and prerecorded calls to cell phones are illegal. That includes political, survey and this religious call. They are all illegal. Have him donate the statutory $500.00 to you or the call to your cell number.

Called at 9:30 pm  didn't answer but am getting sick of all these calls.  just love it when att says there is nothing they can do about it. told them they were big enough to lobby to the government to try to buy t-mobile.  should be big enough to lobby and get these calls stopped.
If i had Obama's cell phone number, i would give it to each and everyone of these callers.  Bet he would change his mind then about allowing telemarketers etc, calling cell phones!!  Had enough of this!!

First of all, just the overall tone of the recording sounds like it's suited for an infomercial. Someone claiming to be running a "prayer closet" all this summer... If it truly was a religious group wanting to pray for you, it wouldn't just be a summer thing. It claims it knows I'm going through a tough time in my life... We're in a recession, he can say that about almost anyone and he'll be right. The recording left as a voicemail says to call 1-800-234-9071 to join, but in all honesty, given the details, I think this entire thing is a scam to get personal information. One hardly stops to worry what a priest will do with their personal info if what they think they're getting out of it is simply people praying for them. Besides, if it was truly a group who cared, it wouldn't be a recording, but an actual person leaving the message, and naming a specific reason why they think you're "going through one of the toughest times in your life right now." Like, laid off your job after 11 years, or a close relative passing away, or you have a terminal illness. Granted, these things can still be found out by people trying to run a scam, but it's certainly less common. And by running the scam by pretending to be a religious group, the do not call list does not apply to them. This has scam written all over it, and I would recommend filing a complaint if they keep calling you, but do not call them back to have them take you off the call list. If anything, change your number and make sure it's unlisted. Worst case scenario, you fall for the scam, or if you call back to have them take you off the list, they may have equipment set up for call triangulation, to see where you are calling from, which could provide them with more of your personal info w/o you even giving it to them. It isn't legal for them to use such equipment, but when has something being illegal stopped a con artist from doing to run their scam, which is also illegal? If it is a con, they won't give a damn about breaking more laws. Only thing they aren't likely to do with a scheme like this, psychologically speaking(if this is a scam) is to have it advance to in person robberies or violent crimes.

Unsolicited call to my cell phone.  It was a recorded message with a very annoying voice claiming to represent a religious group.  I am on the Do Not Call list.
