Well I got a call from them and I was immediately skeptical, but.. after a long chat with the guy they seem pretty straight forward to me and just calling for your business.   Not the usual Telemarketer.

The fact that they are cold calling is  of course going to put anyone on guard,  the guy that called me did not act like a buyer he just asked if we were selling it to make sure he had the right person.  If he had, and they are still "acting like buyers" yes, I think that's a bit cheesy but that was not my experience.

I definately don't see them as a "scam" and I love to dig out scams "like the ads on this website by the way" but these guys seem fine, I would imagine if you told them not to call you anymore they wouldn't.

The big plus I think that they offer is that they offer financing.

The big downside to them is that I don't think your vehicle will get much exposure unless you use their ebay listing service which is expensive.  Their website itself does not get much traffic, and it doesn't look like they are doing much marketing for it.   I don't see any Pay Per Click ads, or natural search results when I look up some general terms customers would look for.

In my case I think I will pass up on them because I don't want to risk paying for their ebay listing and not selling the car in just only 21 days before having to renew it.   The classyauto listing I don't think is worth the price just based off site traffic.

Thanks for the heads up, I was very skeptical that a boat lead came from a 800 number, so I looked it up... and sure enough.  gotta love the internet!

Yep it sure sounds like Fitzy works for them. Why would I pay them to sell my car on EBAY? If I list it on EBay myself what is the difference if I list it or they list it on EBay? I will tell you less fees for me and more profit for me if I list it myself.

You get what you pay for?

This is the most misleading quote of the 20th century.
** you can get the same thing on line for 1000 less what I am selling it but you get what you pay for!!**

    gimme a break.

I did look this company up on BBB website and they are not accredited by BBB, they do have a ranking of C- because of 90 complaints with BBB but all companies that actually do buisness have a BBB ranking.  And most people as myself looking to buy a vehicle and sell vehicles will not do buisness with a company that is not accredited by BBB and that company must have a ranking of B+ or better with BBB.  Just because a celebrity does buisness with a company does not mean that, that buisness has credibility.

It amazes me how ignorant some people can be, to think that they can bluff so many.  Reminds me of our government, people like you must believe the mass majority of people are nothing more than a steer calf willing to be led around by the nose.

These people called me off a free car for sale ad I posted on craigslist.
They wanted to know if I would pay them to list the same car on their website that I was listing for absolutely free on craigslist.
I told them that that was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard and hung up laughing hysterically at the thought of what they were trying to do..

Well, here is their company profile from INC. Magazine.   Looks like this is from a year or so ago.  I am surprised they are in a magazine like this.  INC. Magazine is no joke...

I also looked on google to see if I could find their website as if I were a buyer looking for a car like mine.  I typed in "Luxury cars for sale" and I actually did see them #2 on the first page on the google search... classyauto.com ?

I wanted to check out what some of the posters on here were saying, the ones that sound like employees...  So on google I typed in "cars for sale by owner on eBay" and the very first result on the first page was a link to eBay and it turns out that it is nationalvehiclemarketing's eBay store.  I think it is the same people?

you are completely insane, if you think your service actually works. IT DON"T, BOTTOM LINE. Too many people try and fail. Also, when you guys call and say that this is the last money, that you will spend, and then if it doesn't sell on E-bay, you have Jay (Frank Romero) call them up and get them to spend an unbelievable amount of money. Get a life, Fitzy, and get a REAL JOB

you have too much time on your hand if you can research some bulls*** about the company you work for to try to prove what you are saying, when in fact it does not prove anything. You should really get into a different line of work, you would sleep better at night, instead of working for Classy Convicts, where 95% of the employees are either at work release or have been at one point in time. I thought you were better than this, Fitzy.

yeah, it's funny; that Allen was the one that was rude to you considering he is one of the sales managers now, believe me, there is so much illegal stuff going on with this company, it is just a matter of time before they finally get shut down FOR GOOD

they do not offer financing, they merely have websites of lenders that anyone can apply to in the first place to make it look they offer that.

    Tired of the bottom feeders
Just received a call from these ebay bottom feeders.  800-320-9557 caller claimed to be from National Vehicle Marketing.  Wanted $399 to list it on ebay motors for me.  He claimed it would sell in 7 days.  I asked if he was 100% confident in his services, and he said yes.  At which point I told him to list it and I would pay when they sold it.  He was too scared to do so.  Lets go, put your money where your mouth is.  It only costs $20 to list on ebay motors, and you don't pay a success fee unless the reserve is met.  Soooo, $20 is too much for them to risk, but asking me for $399 isn't.  If they are a legit biz, then they need to take calculated risks.  One would think that $20 isn't much to spend to get $399 if they are that confident.  Only positive thing I can say is this guy was not rude and did not use foul language like Josh from 866-771-1751.  I filed a complaint with the FCC against the 866 number at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Baloney.  They take themoney, and post your ad.  They play on fear that re-enforced by Fitzy's touting--you get what you pay for.  Not the case.  Paying more to list an ad online is giving your money away when you can do EXACTLY the same thing, for a 10th of the price or free.  I sold my 2006 M3 convertible on craigs list (I guess Fitzy would call that a low end sale) and am selling my 2008 LR Sport on it now.
