Who called?

I received a charge on Visa statement of 9.15, Site Services,800-361-4894 NY; how did this come about, when calling the#800-361-4894 it says you have reached voice messaging system, please leave detailed message, no one returned the 2 call I left?

I also received a charge on my Visa debit card for $9.15 from the 800-361-4894 NY "Site Services" people.  I reported the transaction to my bank's claim department and canceled my debit card.

umm, no.  I got a $9.15 charge on my Visa from "SITE SERVICES 800-361-4894 NY" on 4/23/08.  I got the card less than a year ago, and I can count on one hand the number of online vendors where I've used it, and none of them are the kinds who play games, they are places like USPS and Amazon.com (not one of Amazon's "featured merchants" either, only direct-shipped from Amazon).

The charges are simply fraudulent.  Even if they had a shady click-through "negative option" agreement you inadvertently accepted they would provide the name of the company when calling their voicemail and there's a good chance they'd fight you on the chargeback.  I wouldn't even be surprised if the 800 number has no affiliation with the "SITE SERVICES" making the charge.

These scammers know that most people don't check their statements that carefully, and even if some do, many will be afraid of the hassle of dealing with their bank to contest the relatively small charge.

We got a charge for $9.10 from Site Services on 5/2/08 (for "computer services"). Our bank gave us the number for the company. They are located in Lake Success, NY (as reported to our bank).  We left a message 3x (to a computer operated voicemail box) and no call back. We reported this to our bank and had the debit card cancelled.

I have received 2 phone calls from the same Maryland phone number asking for a person not at my phone number. I called the 888 phone number posted by Val and spoke to a female named Genevieve. I requested all phone calls to my phone cease and she told me they'd take my phone number off the list.

This is a bill collector from a company named Pinnacle Financial. They are bottom feeder collection agency that collects on zombie debts.

A woman who identified herself as Amy Browder called and left a message asking the call be returned and to referance a certain number. She did not identify who she was trying to reach. I called the number, but blocked mine. The man that answered the phone identified I had reached RCI but wouldn't divulge what type of business I had reached. I hung up. Google identifies this number as belonging to RCI a collection agentcy in Carrollton, TX.

You sound like an ERMI employee. They have been calling my number for months for someone I don't know. It has been going for approximately six months and no money out of me.

Got a call on my cell phone from a lady insisting to speak to me and my "registered" attorney. She left a voicemail so I don't know what this pertains to and she didn't say what company it's for..only that it will only take 5 minutes of mine and my attorney's time to speak with her.

This is simple. It is fraud, not a debt collector, not anything. It is fraud.

We have gotten several calls from this number .. they leave an automated message trying to collect a debt. We have no outstanding debts, or any tpye of debt problems (past or present). Makes you wonder!!!

A number of my relatives have recieved phone calls from 1. The name of the company that they are using is Arrow. My relatives said they were trying to get information from them like my phone number, address,date of birth and anything else they could. They said that the call was about my sister. They said to have me call them back, they even left a reference number for me to use when I called. When I called the number back it rang twice and then went dead. I also belive that this is a bogus company.

Just call back and tell them it's a wrong # they would like to know so they can find the right person

Calls every 45 minutes starting at 8:45am until 8:45pm. I don't answer because I didn't know who it was and if it was important enough they could leave a message. I'm only 2 weeks late on my payment, they'll get their money. This is harassment.

rec'd call from andrea at Alliance One ( collection agency ), she knew my name and the correct pronunciation, said I must call her back at ext. 6440, she did not say why, I have no outstanding uncollected debt

Danielle Short called for my cousin who hasn't lived with me in over 7 years. She was harrassing and rude. She stated that she had a Civil matter and needed to speak to my cousin as soon as possible. I took down the phone # and case #. I don't know how they got my phone # since it is unlisted and my cousin never had this phone #.

Site services charged me $9.05 on my credit card. I never ordered it. I called back and received the message from voice mail.  I knew it was fraud.
