I am so sick of receiving calls from this number several times a week (sometimes a day) that I have just filed a complaint to the "do not call list"  It is easy to do and takes a couple of minutes.  Find the info at: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng 

I have been on the list since it started and it has made a huge difference.  The problem is that some companies try to dupe and usurp the system by pretending to be legit.. I am told by a reliable source that if you threaten them with legal action that also works very well!  That's if you get to talk to a person.

DONT ANSWER THESE CALLS. This # called me 3months ago. A woman left a voicemail saying she was from CIBC and it was about insurance on my account and this was their 3rd notice to call back immediately. 3 months later and now they are calling back again and again. I answered it last week. Using my name a man asked if I was home. I said yes  can I ask who's calling? He told me it was a customer consideration call from CIBC. . but NO NAME and I said "oh" and hung up. Dont answer this call or call it back.

The son of a [***] called me at least 3 times a day now.  He even calls at night (8:00 p.m.).  I am on the no call list and reported online to the CRTC, but the useless CRTC is doing nothing, absolutely nothing.

received a missed call from this number... come to think of it, i've had odd calls from CIBC, which i've always ended as quickly as possible, but never suspected it might be a con-artist

I called tried removing my number from their list, but when the option on the automated system declared a number that's not mine and asked me if this number is wrong, I have to enter my number to remove it. I just ended the call and gave CIBC a complaint e-mail. *face palms*. I think I will just switch banks if this continues.

I have been getting a few calls again from this number.  I called it back, 1-800-395-9122 and it was that Gemma Communications.  They read out a number that wasn't mine, so I entered my number and they said it would be removed within 24 hours.  I will post again in a few days and let you know if it worked.

I started getting calls from this number a few weeks ago. I haven't called it back to get my number removed from their database because I'm not sure it works. Has anyone had any luck?

I called the number and some guy answered the phone saying it wasn't him that was making calls.  I asked the phone company if they could block the calls but they couldn't do that, other choices were to change my number.  Man this is so annoying!!!

I've received several calls from these people but I've never picked up.  So I called them back and to remove my number from their calling list.  Hope it works.

I started getting calls from 1-000-000-0000. I googled it and came up with Gemma Communications. I called them went through the same bs everyone else went through (including having to correct my number) and it worked for a while. Then yesterday I started getting called from 1-800-395-9122. When I answered there was only silence and then it hung up. I called them back and sure enough, Gemma Communications again. I called to take my number off the list and contacted the CRTC. We'll see what happens but it's seriously annoying. I just wish I got a real person so they could get a sense first hand of my frustration.

Keep getting called by this number, 2-3 times a day... Next time they phone, we are going to ask them if they would like to buy a goat... or a cow... or a horse... They also left a number to be reached at, (416)850-9357. Have tried ignoring the calls and the 'remove off call list' feature, with no success.

They call me 9 times today, the last call is 8:03 pm. It really bother me! I'm on a no-phone call list...but how they can do it!!!!

I've been getting calls for the last couple of weeks. I don't pick up - I see the 800 number on my caller ID and I leave it. But, it's annoying to keep going to answer the phone only to find out it's some telemarketer.

What will happened if I did call back but to check who called... it was like 11 seconds long .. just to hear... i heard German COmmunication ... or I misheard ?? It was Gemma Communication?? CIBC??

They call me about my visa every 6 months or so so I can say "no" to their insurance 3 times.  I am closing my Visa with CIBC.  If anyone from CIBC reads this CONGRATS!.

Ok i just got a call from this number and everything that you all have said was what was said from this caller i gave him no info and hug up the phone called my bank which is CIBC by chance and they say that this number is not one of theirs and that the person doing this is committing fraud, so my bank has started a investigation and will let me know some time next week.
