This is completely correct.  Only in my case about two weeks.  No discounts on my "warranty" either. Last time will ever buy anything from them.  I think I must have spoken to almost everyone in Sears in every department.  Worthless.

This # is from Sears to confirm a service appt for the next day. Service, parts and repair do come with wks in between from Sears btw...I know this site's purpose is to identify #s, but it's true, the Sears way of repairing products is EXTREMELY LONG!!!

I have had good success with Sears investing in a z Total Protection Agreement for 10 appliances

Under this program my problems were pre diagnosed and in many cases parts are sent in advance.
My dishwasher was replaced with a brand new model of my choosing  at no cost to me after 4 multiple repairs in in one year could not solve reliability issues.
Similar replacements of a refrig and washing machine over the last 10 years have created high value

When vents clog it extends the drying time and overheats the element.
And can cause element to fail.
Thus is common sense ....not picking a fight.

Got call, did not answer.    Sears repair called back using with phone number NOT displayed & left message on that call.
Call was to confirm repair appointment.
They lack skill, knowledge and the motivation to do anything correctly.   EVERYTHING requires more than one attempt.
Lowest cost - provided our insurance policy.

Supposedly Sears.  They called earlier and left a message on my home phone about a repair appointment tomorrow.  Then they called my cell and I didn't answer.  Both caller IDs said unknown caller.  The problem is that I have not called Sears for service.  This is either a scam or foreign call centers with an American lady message who are confused.

I got a legitimate reminder of my Sears service appointment from this number.  If Sears would simply list "Sears Repair" in the caller ID it would do away with all this confusion.  At any rate, the call I got from this number was legitimate.

Seriously...no car for 10 days...exaggerate much???  You can ALWAYS open the garage door manually, idiot!!!!

As his post was over 4 1/2 years ago I don't think he will see your post. He will still be trying to open his garage door by pulling it down from the top.

This is very true. I even told them exactly what part my stove needed. The "repair" guy came out and told me what I'd already told him. Now I'm waiting weeks for the part. So [***] backwards.
