I called to have them take us off of this list.  They were asking for someone who doesn't even work here.  I called them back with their "case number" to tell them that that specific person does not work here- much less live here- we are an office.  I was on hold for 15 minutes and finally hung up. What kind of racket is this...does anyone know?

Use trapcall.com  Sign up for the free flytrap service, put their number in your blacklist and when they call, just hit ignore.  It will route them to a server stating the number they have dialed is no longer in service.  It seems to help stop many harassing phone calls.  Check with your cell carrier to make sure forwarding charges won't be incurred.

They call me twice a day and never leave messages. The one time they did, they asked for someone I never even heard of. I've been ignoring the phone. It's some collection agency! I don't even owe any money to anyone!

It was an automated voice who called me by my name and said if it was me to press #1, so I did -- then they identified themselves as calling on behalf of "Sprint" about my overdue bill which I paid exactly 2 weeks ago - I even have my next statement from sprint with the amount listed and the date it was paid. So I hung up on them and I won't answer again.

The women I spoke to was very polite, and its a collection agency for sprint.

More than annoyed, obviously from postings this is a collection agency that hits on people who have a similar name or the same last name.  I am not the person they are looking for... I asked them to stop calling and they called more!!  Everyday, for months I come home to a message for "LONNIE"  I am not this person.  You cannot block 800 calls, which of course are the calls you want to block!  Finally, I have a non-published number but the damage is done because my information is on the web.  I

I'm with the person who said to harass them... called the number given but also found 763-780-1042 and started trying different combinations and came up with X-269 (no name), Kathy Johnson is X-386 and Trevor is X-318.  Let's keep leaving them messages and see how they like it!

Yes, I've been told they will take me off the list twice... but then they started calling everyday!!!  I've tried calling the number and you always get voicemail...  Soooo I'm leaving voicemail... maybe, I'll start dragging out their name like they do the person they are calling for... K A T H Y, if this is K A T H Y   J O H N S O N... please call...  I have an important matter to discuss with you... STOP CALLING ME!  Honestly, if you don't know the person they are trying to collect from... what can you do?  I wish they would pay their bill but obviously they can't so leave me alone, is that too much to ask?

They called AGAIN this morning at 7:55am.  They usually don't leave a message and I don't feel inclined to call them back, as that would only give them my number again.  If, in fact, they are calling on behalf of Sprint, it is really irritating.  I use another provider for my cell service.

I called and to set up a payment plan prior to court date. They faxed over the agreement and I come to noticed they tacked on like $300 more and some crazy deal where if something was to happen that I could not make payments the interest rate would be 50% or something to that effect. I called back the lawyer or (who said he was an attorney) agent to discuss it and he was deliberately, rude, and very confusing. When I asked him to explain where these fees came from and explained this is not what we discussed. I never agreed to half the stuff in this agreement he was furious and told me fine I will see you in court. Well I sent all documentation to them, and the court with the court case number and I never heard back from either till this year they are calling again. They send out mass court orders by the thousands scheduled for the same day and time. They are a joke. They will manipulate dates so that the last date of activity is to there advantage - they are the worst to even consider paying. They will just try to screw you even when you are ready to start a payment plan. I am surprised they still are getting away with the same tactics for years.

A received several messages from them over the past two days. They say I owe money on a bill I never received.  When I asked them the address of where the bill was sent they gave an incorrect address. They asked for my social security number and a credit card number to pay the bill.  I asked them if they were crazy!! What a scam! When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the person refused! They said the company was called Proegressive Financial Services.  I plan to file a complaint against them with the State Attorney General.

They "Shelby" and "Samantha" are calling my office, a government agency, asking that a "Ralph Cook" call them back immediately, to discuss unknown.  In my near twenty years here there has never been such a Ralph.  I don't intend to call them back.

Yes this is a collection agency, they have been hounding me over medical bills for some time now. Yes they are extremely rude and they get paid to be that way. Maybe im missing something here? When someone is rude to me all I really want to do is punch that persons lights out and make them feel pain? So they have never gotten a dime out of me? HMMM hows that workin out for ya? I mean if they would have called and said we are just trying to collect a debt that you owe and we can work arrangements on payments or even get the amount reduced, I would have oblidged them as I would of felt that they were on my side? Oh well this is just one little story in a very large debt pool. Good luck to you all.
