Sherri, in Congress all the Republicans and many of the Democrats are working for the big corporations that pay them off.  Do you remember when W. was president how a Democrat in Congress was trying to change a law so that Americans could buy inexpensive medication from Canada?  The Republicans fought that tooth-and-nail, saying it wouldn't be safe for US citizens to buy "foreign drugs."  Of course, they were just doing the bidding of the big pharmaceutical companies who want to keep Americans paying $20. for a pill that takes 50 cents to make.  The Democrat replied, "If Canadian prescription drugs aren't safe, show me the dead Canadians."

Well Mr Obama Will Pay. How about you pay the bills you owe. I am sure you came across this site for a reason. Let me guess.....
they are calling you as well. Well if you "skipped" out on a hospital bill than be a man and pay it. If you cant then start a payment plan or wait the 7 years it takes to be off your credit report.

Got a call from a recorded msg. saying this is Lisa, bla bla bla credit card, there isn't a problem with your credit card, bla bla, lower interest rates, press 9 to speak to an operator.  I pressed 9 and asked the guy where he was calling from, he said Calgary, Alberta, Canada.  I asked him for the phone number and he gave me the 800 one here.  I told him I was reg. with the Federal gov.'s do not contact service and please remove my number.

Hey, you can't argue with the fact that many, not all, illegal immigrants come over here expecting the government/Medicaid to pay everything when they get sick or have a child.  I am HALF NATIVE AMERICAN and I do not agree with scammers who come over here to just get everything free.

They called me before 9:00 Am, which is in violation of all collection laws from the FDCPA.

Try paying large hospital bill for your heart condition, when they are over $10,000 on co-pays, when you are older and just on Social Security..  You will change your tune about how to pay hospitals.  They do not want to take small payments, like most hospitals do in Fla.  Walk a mile in someone elses shoes.

What are you all bitching about? First of all, it is not harassment to call every single day as long as we dont make contact with the DEBTOR more than once a day and before 8am or after 9pm. You always claim you are disable, dont work and have no income. Then, how do you support yourselves?? Unbelievable, no income, no job, broke, homeless but you have a cell phone. Amazing.  Be RESPOSIBLES and pay your DEBTS. If not, dont go to the hospital. Wouldnt you be calling if somebody owes you money?

Seriously??? This is how a company responds.

U keep getting voicemails from this company saying it us not a sales call but they never leave a name. I don't return calls unless I know who they are. Collection or not they should identify themselves and the reason they are calling, otherwise they'll never get call back or money from me.

received call from "mike", said he was calling to collect a debt, says I owe northside hospital $29.95, I paid this amount several months ago and can prove it, I have only had bill problems since my doctors office became part of northside hospital, I called my doctor and reported problem

Don't know these people.  Do not have any unpaid balances anywhere.  Don't ;know exactly who called.  Do not answer unknown callers.

I live away up in Canada & have not a clue what they are talking about ! How would they get my number????

I completely concur.  I was offended by the ignorance.   Such ignorance is learned and those are teaching like counters that such thinking is normal. Presently,  these are the killers not the illegal "people".
