One call was 40 seconds long with nothing but a beep; second call 4 hours later, 4 seconds long recorded voice saying "Thank you for using American Express" and then abruptly ending. This is NOT American Express!

I got a text from this # saying that this is a amex fraud safety msg and call this # if any questions. I don't have any emx cards

Call almost daily.

It's American Express Robocaller

Got a call today, automated call saying it was amex and they said my full name and asked to reply yes or press 1, i did nothing, it hung up

No clue who is calling

Have received 2 calls yesterday, one today from this number. No message left. I don't answer calls like that. Blocked them.

I have two large charges on my credit card with this number as a reference.  I still am not clear who they are.  Obviously the charges are not authorized by me.

Called twice, 2 hours apart. I never pick up an 800 number. The number looked familiar. I can see why, it's been in operation as a scam for almost a decade. 👀😲 no message left.

Getting calls from 8005284800 say they are AmX but leaving a call back number of 840 -592-1160. These people call all time of the day even while in the hospital.

Called twice on a Saturday morning, left no message either time. No caller ID given just the phone number.

Phishing call.  They've called the past 3 days.  Claims to be from American Express Fraud.  The caller ID is 1-800-528-4800.  However, they request a call back to 1-800-824-9289.
