they called me at 8 am this morning, woke me and my kid up. I've been trying to call back for over half an hour. They put me on hold for 6 minutes then tell me to call back during business hours. They are calling for someone I've never head of, and I've had my cell phone for 6 years with the same number. And I know I don't owe Blockbuster money.

they just call and call and call, i never pickup weird phone numbers anyways but this one calls me at 9 or 10pm sometimes!!!

Hey, I am getting this phone call also saying I didn't pay a blockbuster debt, the name the give is even not mine.
I found out the phone to call is anyone needs 1-800-694-1113, but the lady said only during weekdays.
Is there any Government agency that we can call to report this kind of abuse?

by the way, the calls happened saturday (just now) earlier in the morning.
and it's happening for almost 6 months now.

i gota call from them, and after reading all the comments about blockbuster, im sure its about a  movie i now have to buy, but know i returned. ive talked to my store but still getin bugged from the monsters.

they call too, but i dont owe anything. these kariola dont have anything better to do.

Not even my debt.  Pressed #1 and got automated bill collector.  Next time pressed #2 and was disconected.  There was no # for a person.  Would really like them to stop calling.

I also think this may be related to blocksuter they call me on my cell at 8:45 in the morning every week. Netflix is 100% the way to go and the sooner blockbuster goes out of business the better.

I filed a complaint with the FCC, as it is against the law to a call cell numbers for telemarketing. Filling a complaint with the FCC is realy easy to do ( all online) I recomend that others do the same.

Yes, its Blockbuster. I had a small balance which I will pay. Whatever happened to paying late charges when you go to rent a movie. I for one, will cancel my blockbuster account if they are this hard up for money.

Sounds like a scam to me. Ive gotten a call from the same number asking for a jennifer rosenreat. Brand new phone and number. I also got a call from a different number but from the same company asking for the same person. I am going to try and have these numbers blocked.

They called me as well.  If you call the number back listed on this forum, hit '0' and then #, it will prompt you with "We're not getting the info requested.  If you'd like to talk to a rep, please press '1'".  

I did and, after a 5 minute hold, was then talking to a live person.  I told them the number they had called was erroneous and they very politely said they would remove it and I wouldn't be called again.  They did not ask for any of my information.

The proof's in the pudding, but they were very respectful and responsive.

I just got this cell phone number like 3 months ago. First I started getting calls from blockbuster saying that Justin Smith needed to return a game. Then after a few of those calls I started getting calls from this number. I keep trying to talk to a person at this number, because they keep waking me up at 7 am in the morning, when I don't get to bed until 3 in the morning it is really annoying. I don't even have a blockbuster account, never been there in my life. I would just like to talk to someone and have my number removed from the calling list.

I've been getting calls from this number a couple times a week for a couple months now. The message says it's intended for someone who isn't me, nor have I heard of them, and it's about a Blockbuster account.  I have had my cell number for almost 7 years and I have a Netflix account, not Blockbuster, so I've been ignoring the calls.  At first I thought someone made a mistake, but looking at the other posts I think it might be a scam.

I've been getting the same problem with my phone number.  They leave no further information, as I am not the gentleman they are calling.  I'm starting to get a might bit pissy with 'em.

This number keps calling my 12 year old's cell phone to collect someone else's blockbuster debt. I need to speak to an individual not a recording to stop this harassment

I just got a call from this number, just realized it's from a collections tied to Blockbuster.  I do have some late charges I owe so when I called my local Blockbuster they told me I could just pay them instead of the collections service.

This is Blockbuster...even tho the movies were ret'd weeks ago!

I receive calls almost daily from this company.  It is a recording and there are no options to speak with a live person, even when you call back.  The recording is asking for a Shauna Kemp regarding her Blockbuster account.  No one lives here by that name.  The recording calls early in the morning or Saturdays and wakes half the house up.
