Who are you!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't appreciate being told to call someone immediately without some type of explaination.........

Everyone needs to check their state's financial regulations website and see if this company is even a valid debt collector and allowed to collect in your state. If they do not have a license to collect in your state they legally can't collect a debt from you.

A recorded message identifying themselves as the Takhar Group keeps calling my phone and demands a call back - very rude recording  - I believe this has to be some kind of scam!

This is Takhar Group. This is a collection agency for (at least one company) Columbia House. National Recovery Agency used to have them but apparently had switched to Takhar Group. Yes they are rude and inconvenient but just go to the website and you put in the phone number that they called you at as well as zip code and if your name comes up you can see the outstanding bill and for whom you owe money to. If it is not you and a different phone number there will be an option to let them know that as well on the site. It's not really a big deal. You can ignore them all you want but they will continue to call. I do have an outstanding bill and am making payments (small but making them regardless monthly). This is annoying as they keep calling even if I'm making payments but nothing I can really do about it but complain and at the end of the day...it doesn't matter to anybody. A lot of you might not have bills which is great but a lot of you do...So if you want them off your case, I would suggest you pay it off.

Got a call from this number saying it is urgent that I call back. Left no info except spelled out company name as PAKHARGROUP and left a website address as www.pakhargroup.com. Also told to call: 800-620-0371.

I dont just give money to people who claim I owe money.  I dont know them.  You HAVE to be an idiot to give money just because your told you owe.  There are so many scams out there.  THey  can call me as much as they want.  I just ignore them.  Dont bother me a bit.  Theyre wasting their money on phone calls, not me!

They're collectors.  i got this message from "The Concord Group" but i've been ignoring the ones from Takhar.  Don't call back!!

Received a rude message thurs. p.m. on my home phone recorder.  I've never talked with them before, ever, and that's the way they introduce themselves, with a message saying"...if we aren't going to answer their call, at least give them the courtesy of picking up the phone and not just listen to them".  I tried calling them back, but their outgoing message says that they have hours of operation that ended by 9p.m. EST.  It was 7:30 p.m. PST  when we got the call.

Friday @ 6:30a.m., I called that number back.  To their credit, a human voice greeted me, nastily, but the mess started all over again.  
I explained that the person they wanted to talk to has been married and had a different name and that her maiden name wouldn't have any credit problems that were past due.  The "nasty" gal wouldn't speak to me, her husband, and I couldn't hold back any further fury and demanded that they remove our phone number from their calling list and drop her name from their call list.  The gal mumbled something that may have been an "okay", but I'm expecting more harassing calls from them or some other "company" with a different name.  Time will tell.  They only do these calls cause if there was a way to know where their place of business resided, they would be visited by everybody they call, including myself.

These people (?) call at shortly after 8 am with just about the same message as from all other postings. "Call right away or go to the web listing, www.takhar group" This is bad, because when a person works 3rd, its a hell of a way to wake up.

The same creepy "company" calls me several times week or more with a snotty recording saying they "expect the common courtesy of a return phone call".

DON'T CALL BACK!  Scare tactics are commonly used by bottom-feeder debt collectors who buy old debts. They buy  phone numbers  from other bottom feeders.  If you call back, you'll verify your name  & phone number & even if you succeed in stopping the calls, they'll sell your number to another bottom feeder. Legal action is difficult unless you make a record of each threatening call & file a formal complaint with your state attorney general.

I get calls from this company almost daily.  A message is left stating they "require a returned call."  Well, I require a better explination of what the call is in reference to or they can kiss it.  I don't respond to rude, threatening voice mails.

These people call my phone every day!!! Then today they leave a message saying I should have the decent to call back!! well i did and this time got a person and I dont think she liked my message. They say to call back its an emergency.

First of all, the calls are likely just wrong numbers.  Quit being so  paranoid and seriously have the decency to return the call.  Unless you are professional debtors you have nothing to worry about.
Educate yourself about the Do Not Call list.  That only applies to solicitation calls not people who hide from bill collectors.  
Skip. tracers call friends and family, even neighbors and they give your new addresses and ph #s.
Most ph #s are recycled so they were numbers owned by deadbeats who disconnected or changed their ph# and you got stuck with the collection calls.
Call immediately and the messages wil l Stop.

some brain-defective person, apparently female, called wanted "address confirmation" before offering response to the purpose of her call.  when she understood I was not gratuitous with my personal information; this piece of human refuse spoke threats and insult.  surely wish i knew where to find this skank and her "takhar group".  They would truly regret my visit and the legal consequernce.

Just finished a call from this number 800-620-0371 with a fax number given of 1-866-622-6911. The lady asked for my daughter and would not give me any information, said if I would fax a power of attorney that I have, she would then speak with me. I googled the company name as she gave it to me TAKHER GROUP and I have ended up here. I called back and said " I am returning a call from this number" and the lady (not the same voice as before) said you recieved at call at this phone number you are calling from, yes I was my reply, the phone went silent but did not disconnect, I said hello are you there a few times then I hung up.
