I have gotten calls from the 1-800-620-0371 number several times over the past month or so. Today I received a call with a different message, one similar to others on here "we have attempted to contact you several times and are surprised that we have not received a timely response" or something to that nature.  I looked on their website, takhar.com, that allows you to either enter a case number or your phone number and zip code. I did have an outstanding debt that another agency was calling me about. It has been taken care of. Takhar.com shows my maiden name, not my married name on their site with a button to click confirming this. I did not click on the confirm button. I have NO idea what this supposed debt could be. We are up to date on everything, don't owe anyone. I'm wondering if it could be something connected to my oldest daughter, although she was murdered this past June and was in her 30s and did not live with us. I say if you don't owe anything, don't answer. It's sad that some of the responses here are from children, not even 18. What kind of company is this????

This is a debt collection agency that is extremely rude.  
No $$$$ is owed I don't owe anybody anything
Please do not call me as I am terminally ill and don't want nor need your
continued harassment.  Please respect my request...... DON'T CALL ME!!!!
Next  time you call to my number will result in my suing you!

I've been receiving calls from 1-800-620-0371, the Takhar Group  for the past few months. I've had 7 calls from them on my cell just in the last month. But the call I received yesterday was unsettling... the woman stated that they had "rendered a decision on my file without my input as of 3pm and if I had any questions on the claim I could call her". What does that mean? Who are they and what claim are they referring to? I do have some medical debts but they are being handled by a local company. I am in the process of reporting them to the Attorney General of my state as well as the Fair Trade Commission. I refuse to call them back because if they were a reputable debt collector they would follow the law and send their requests in writing with proof of who they are collecting for in which I would have 30 days to respond as to whether the debt was legitimate or not. All debt collections need to be in writing with proof of the debt owed, not harassing phone calls with "rendered decisions".

rude voicemails, and a couple times i have answered to a rude recording. never spoke to anyone in person, never called back. they started calling in january until february, then i havent heard from them until two days ago, and they have called twice since then. very annoying.

i receive calls from this number daily saying to call them back the one time i answered they wanted to know if i still lived at the address i had been at previously when i refused to answer any thing till they explained who they where they replied this is information we all ready have so your not telling us any thing we don't already know

They are F***ING SCAMMERS!!!

Got a recorded call from these people this morning on my cell.  She was demanding that I call them back as she had called before (which they had not) for what I do not know.  She was very rude, forcefully and annoying.   The number they called from is 8000-620-0371.
